24.01.2022 The Geltwood Festival Committee regrets to inform that all Geltwood Festival Events are Cancelled. Gumboots will be on display in George Street, Quilts for Cause will be on at Millicent Visitor Information Centre and Stitches and Threads on Display at Millicent Art Gallery. Without any Official Openings. We hope that the 2021 Geltwood Festival will bigger and better.

20.01.2022 With sadness, we have decided to cancel the Lions Geltwood Family fun and market Day due on 29th March this year. With the talk & worry of current events, we have decided that our best course of action is to call it off until events get back to'normal'. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience but believe it to be the best action considering stallholders & patrons. When events settle down to near normal we may consider holding the day later in the year or leave it to 20...21. Those stallholders who have already paid their fees, will you please email your bank details & we will refund your money. Thank you for all the support you have offered over the last few years which has helped make our Family Fun Day a great success. we hope to continue this success in the future.

16.01.2022 GELTWOOD GUMBOOT CHALLENGE Join in our attempt to set a world record for the most decorated gumboots by handcrafting a cover. The count will be held as part of the 2020 Geltwood Festival Market Day on Sunday 29th March. Rules are: the cover should be handcrafted and cover at least 75% of the gumboot upper, no need to make pairs as single, damaged or creations made using multiple boots are ok. If you cant craft a cover you can donate your old gumboots. If you can craft but don...’t have any gumboots we will give you donated boots. Gumboot covers will be accepted from anywhere in the world so get your friends and family involved. 03.01.2022 Come down the Millicent Civic and Art Centre tomorrow and spend the day at the Quilting Convention tickets are available at the door $15 per person, with Morning and afternoon tea provided. It is a great day with a fashion parade and other entertainment throughout. Take along your stitching and knitting and spend the day chatting away.
