25.01.2022 Following from the great success of Gemsfield Twice Shy and rider Wynter Schultz at ENSW Horse of the Year this weekend, I'd like to shine a spotlight on 2 other junior combinations: Gemsfield Royal Ballet with Ava Holland, who recently competed in the Woodend Pony Club online dressage comp for two 2nd's (with 81.25% and 77% and Grade 5 Jackpot Winner!) Gemsfield Sequin with Anna Martin, who made their debut together at the Central West Dressage Groups Sept Training Day... (in horrible wet weather, photo from home at a lesson) for super results in big classes! Two 3rd's with 61% and 65.5% Seeing these ponies with junior riders makes me a very proud breeder, and looking in my paddocks, there are many more with suitable style and temperaments to follow. Exciting times ahead

Valley Creek He's Got Power - bred by Samantha and Stuart Moeck from Valley Creek Simmentals Foaled down at Gemsfield in the 2018 season, 'Blue' has been a legend from the start. He was allowed to mature with his paddock buddies before commencing his training, show preparation and now sale plan, in a collaboration between Gemsfield and Valley Creek.... He attended the 2020 Canberra Royal for a win in his first led class, and today attended Blayney Show with more success, including a win in the Led Galloway class! Effex Conversation HSH has safely reached 60 days to the beautiful stallion Echos of Jezzire for an Arabian Stock Horse & 1 ASH foal. We are so excited to have the opportunity to use this versatile young stallion as a valuable outcross in our breeding program. Now the countdown begins

04.01.2022 Weaning time has finished at Gemsfield. Was a pretty quiet event with only 2 foals. A very sad foaling season saw us lose 2 precious foals from the 3 we were expecting. Breeding can be heart-breaking .. We thank Nicole for allowing 'Woody' to stay on and be the best Little Brother to our Big Brother foal!!
