07.01.2022 Gentle Bio-Energetics combines many tools, let’s have a look at some of the techniques used. Trauma Life-Line - is used in order to understand the roots of the trauma and its armoring and to create a therapeutic plan that aids in selecting appropriate tools. Gentle Bio-Energetic Balance - can be vital in reconnecting the flow of energy to the body after injuries, anesthetics, or operations in order to restore functioning. When this tool is used at the beginning of therapy, i...t opens the energy flow and speeds up the healing process. During a session using the GB Balance, a client re-experienced the memories of a car accident some years before and realized that he had been living out the fear of that trauma over and over in his life. The therapeutic process released and healed the memory, freeing him to alter his life. He quit the job he hated, but had stayed in out of fear, and started doing what he loved, building houses. Metamorphosis - is very effective for retrieving and healing in-utero memory and can be used over and over again to access progressively deeper levels of work. Psychodrama Birth - is used to heal the body memories of birth trauma. All of these tools can bring to the surface un-conscious memories, which are the root of repetitive life patterns. Eva Reich consistently used three additional tools throughout the history of her work: the orgone blanket to recharge depleted life energy; Bach Flower remedies to sustain balance between sessions; and healing prayer to honour the spiritual element in the healing process to heal experiences beyond the allotted time and realm of psycho-therapy. While primarily working with body memories, Eva also blended in various cognitive therapies such as Gestalt, Psychodrama, and Transactional Analysis.
