18.01.2022 Another silver lining of 2020. Opera Queensland were supposed to tour the 2019 Production of Tosca throughout regional Queensland. However, due to restrictions that was unfortunately put on hold. What better way to keep engaged with the fantastic choruses based around the state, OQ set out tp produce a chilling and powerful rendition of the Te Deum from the end of Act 1. Featuring Jose Carbo as the villainous Scarpia, and a core of OQ performers joining in with the hundreds of brilliant regional contributions, an amazing and engaging powerful performance piece has been created. Congratulations to all involved in the massive production, Patrick Nolan and all at OQ - with a special mention to Laura Clare Hansford for tying the whole process together.
18.01.2022 It was great to be out west with Camerata last week visiting Toowoomba, Dalby, Chinchilla and finally a concert by the beautiful Balonne river in St George. Here's a little excerpt featuring Tenzin and the Camerata quintet for the final installment of their 5 at 5 series
17.01.2022 Merry Christmas Broncos fans. Thanks to Garry Smith and Shane Murray for letting me mix this little ditty
14.01.2022 What a great way to return to Opera for 2021 with Opera Queensland, with the completed season of Lorelei in the QPAC Concert Hall. If one positive has come out of the year with postponement of the production, the extra poignancy and relevance of the story reflecting on real-life events that have come to light especially over recent weeks, reminds us that for some situations, we should not view them as normal, and yet have done for too long. Congratulations to all of the cast, musicians and crew from OQ, QSO and QPAC.
09.01.2022 A little Iso set from John Williamson for the Deni Ute Muster that I mixed for Andrew Forster. Enjoy!

03.01.2022 It was great to be back in the QPAC Concert Hall last night with Birds of Tokyo and The Queensland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the amazing Vanessa Scammell. A complete, in the round sellout, Nic Buc's delicate, beautiful and powerful arrangements were the perfect compliment to the amazing playing by QSO who joined Birds of Tokyo to present a career anthology of their songs. It may have got a little loud, rocky and rowdy... Photography by Sarah Marshall (Jiriki Photography).
01.01.2022 This amazing concert happened a week ago at such a great venue. Thanks so much to Opera Queensland for having me along to mix such an amazing program, adeptly played and performed by The Queensland Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Dane Lam. Norwest provided the ultimate support, with a spectacular sounding system and the best crew you could imagine that made my job spectacularly easy. Let's hope we can do this again.
