25.01.2022 Special thanks go out to Andrew White for coming up with the idea to build the Geoff Reid Charity house. With the suppprt of Riverina Plaster Works and Kerry Pascoe they got the ball rolling on this amazing project to help their mate and work colleague. 18.01.2022 Let’s take a couple of steps back After months of planning the ground work got started late in 2019 Riverina Crane Services came in and did the site cut and prepared it for the next step. ... Mick Bodel gave his time for the plumbing rough in. Then on a typical hot December day (40+ degrees) a band of workers got together to box up the slab and prepare it for the concrete pour the next day. These guys powered on through in the tough heat. Matt Wade Beef's Concreting Jai Warden Pascoe Construction Max Reid Sam Frauenfelder Ted Vanleirop Rob Carter The team from Above The Rest Pest Solutions Phil Gannon & Jake Stockton did the pre slab treatment and we were ready to pour. SMC Concrete Quarries supplied the concrete for the slab. 17.01.2022 The Geoff Reid Charity House has been set up for a special mate and work colleague who was diagnosed with Brain Cancer in 2017. Geoff has spent most of his working life in the building industry and has always been there to help someone in need. The house is being built on a voluntary basis with many local tradies involved. Once the house is complete it will be auctioned with the proceeds being donated to the Reid Family to help with medical expenses.
