18.01.2022 So it ends for Tamworth. Cast, crew and the creatives who bought Geoffrey into the spotlights, wanted to open a conversation that would go on well after your trip home. In telling the frank tale of Geoffrey's battle with demons and bipolar and showing Melanie's unfathomable courage and determination, we hoped to draw audiences from their seats and onto the stage. The aim was to expose you to what it was like to be these characters. Congratulations to Director Daniel Gillett, ...who took a real story and told it with even more startling reality. To Ellie Sampson and Miranda Heckenberg, the greatest admiration for your insight and imagination. The cast were sublime, performance after performance, bringing a stark truth to the stage with such professionalism and with quality. 05.01.2022 Bill North's review in the NDL. With due regard to the reviewer, I just conceived the baby, Daniel Gillett and his brilliant cast raised her and Miranda Heckenberg provided the play pen. The writer is just one of the team. This is a brilliant play because of everyone's work.
