10.01.2022 Geographe Excavation & Underground Power was commissioned to install some 400HV cable in Onslow for the Onslow DER Project recently. This project involved the installation via open trench and #directionaldrilling of over 12km of cable to connect the town of Onslow and the @onslowsalt mine to the new power station. The #project also included the removal of 12km of overhead poles and wire. A big shout out to all involved, that helped to make this a successful project. 09.01.2022 Geographe Excavation and Underground Power was asked to replace an aging HV cable for the salt stacker with new terminations into the existing transformer and RMU. The installation was made difficult with the overhead change of direction in the cable and the limited access. Through planning and design we where able to find a solution to installing the cable with minimal disruption to the existing operation and completed the work well within the time frame allocated. #energy #electriclightandpower #undergroundpower #infrastructure #construction #powersystems #civilengineering
