21.01.2022 Tonight was Mackenzies last episode for a while. I could not be happier with the story weve told - and I could not be prouder of the people who made it happen Mackenzie says that she found family in Erinsborough. I think I have too! Thank you so much to everyone who has enjoyed this storyline and embraced Mackenzie. Ive loved reading your messages and thoughts on the story. 10-year-old Georgie would not believe the amount of support this story has been receiving. I alwa...ys thought I would have to hide who I am from the world for the rest of my life. I never could have dreamed that I would be playing a trans character on NEIGHBOURS!!!!! And more, the fans were invested in her story and celebrated her for who she is. I dont think I could have asked for a better experience. So long Ramsay Street, see you in November for E-High! (and maybe a bit sooner )

Transcend Australia is participating in this year's GiveOut Day and we have an exciting project we would love you to help us make a reality! Please donate! https://giveout.org.au/transcendaus At Transcend Australia, we have a "nothing about us without us" policy and our young people have been involved in all areas of our public campaigning as well as the development of our Strategic Plan. Our Youth Advocacy and Leadership Program will work alongside TGDNB young people to give them the skills for leadership and advocacy which so many of our young people have been called upon to develop over recent years in order to fight for and achieve their own rights. The program will include understanding the power of storytelling in advocacy and leadership, media training, how to create and sustain a campaign, public speaking, community relationship building, LGBTIQ+ history and how to advocate in the context of your own life. From this, we will develop several resources across various media that will assist young people find their voices to empower, educate, celebrate and create positive social and systemic change. Your donation will mean we can provide this program free of charge and provide the means for rural and regional young people to participate. The project will also take an intersectional approach and be inclusive and accessible for all young TGDNB people 18 years and under. We hope to develop this project into an annual and nationally run program. The resources developed will be made available on our website for everyone to access. GiveOut Day is October 16, 2020. Mackenzie is put in a very difficult position - one that many trans people have been forced into before. Its complicated and its messy. We wanted to convey these issues as truthfully as possible. 13.01.2022 A year ago today I started working on Neighbours. And wow what a year it has been! Im so grateful for the experiences Ive had and the amazing people Ive met. Im so proud to be playing a character I helped create, and telling a story that is often forgotten and erased. And Im proud to be on a show that values these stories and isnt afraid to tell them. Thank you to all the fans who have been invested in Mackenzie and her story so far. I cant wait for what is to come!

04.01.2022 As young people, were still learning about the world when were growing up and our perception of the world is shaped by our conversations and interactions with each other. As a kid I learnt that the world wasnt safe for me and the transphobic comments I heard not only hurt me, but shaped how I saw the world - because thats all you know when youre a kid. The interactions you have then do define you. And you have to unlearn it. Hurtful language is long-lasting. While it too...k me a while to embrace my community, Ive now been able to really let go of those horrible encounters and let go of that shame. Thanks to my family and friends I feel much stronger and more supported than ever before. I feel really proud to be a part of this community. Really proud to be trans. Im so happy I get to support this campaign. Hurtful language directed towards the LGBTIQ community is still so common. It is time that changes. #ANZLoveSpeech @anz_au
