21.01.2022 Now I normally don't post stuff like this, but I seem to have a pretty good feel for this kind of stuff. The next DIET CRAZE & INDUSTRY BUZZ WORDS that you'll start seeing thrown around more and more. And then want to try. What's going to be the next trend that we see coming across the net and social media? 'DIET BREAKS' or ÏNTERMITTENT ENERGY RESTRICTION We used to put our heads down and just work hard for a period, and then relax for a while. Then, re-focus and work hard ag...ain for a bit. Seems, it may have some value. A study from the University of Tasmania in January of 2018 has shown promising results from 2 weeks of highly aggressive calorie restriction followed by 2 weeks of maintenance cals in relation to total fat loss over a given period of time whilst maintaining a reasonable metabolic rate (which usually can drop significantly over lengthy periods of calorie restriction) So, in its infancy, this approach may produce positive results. It's one study though and more work needs to be done in this area. But cool, hey. Let's just see if our social media experts start sprouting this as their new protocols and if it spreads like wild fire??? Interested in finding out more ;-) inbox me
