22.01.2022 so we've had people asking about the brownies. recipe below: preheat oven to 170C 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour... 1/2 softened unsalted butter 1/4 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup white sugar 1 egg 2 vanilla pods pinch of salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda as much choc chips/chunks as you realistically like combine in a bowl until dough forms. finish combining with hands and line a baking pan. cover cookie dough with a layer of oreos (1-2 packets) 1/2 cup all purpose flour 10 tbsp melted unsalted butter 2 eggs 1 1/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cocoa powder pinch of salt 2 vanilla pods pour half of the brownie mix over the cookie dough. crush a block of chocolate (blazn likes dark) into small(ish) bits and sprinkle over brownie mix. cover with remaining brownie mix. baking time varies depending on how you like your brownie. we bake for about 30-40 minutes, so that brownie is still a little runny and before the cookie burns. cool on a rack and chuck it in the fridge before cutting. pic by @dean.forte
