25.01.2022 Downstairs bar and reception LBH

23.01.2022 Hi to all As we prepare to enter stage 2 restrictions in Western Australia on Monday I have had many people phone here over the last few days with the idea that it is business as usual from Monday in Hotels bars and Taverns. Unfortunately, this is not the case with regard to rocking up to the bar and having a drink at the moment. There are many new rules that have come into play that must be complied with (see more detail below). It seems a lot of people have missed the fac...t that alcohol can only be served ancillary to a meal and alcohol is only to be consumed at a table at the bar. The WA Government has implemented a staged easing of COVID-19 restrictions based on the best of health advice, effective from 18 May, 2020. Food businesses including cafes, fast food establishments, restaurants, pubs, clubs, hotels, roadhouses, taverns and casino will be allowed to re-open subject to mandatory conditions such as only serving alcohol ancillary to a meal and ensuring alcohol is only consumed at a table (not counter service, or bar service). The Hospitality Industry must comply with these requirements so that we may move forward to Phase 3 and a closer return to normality. All food businesses are required to mitigate the risks of COVID-19. The requirements for the safe operation of your premises are outlined below: * maintain a strict limit of a minimum of four square metres (4sqm) per person * ensure a maximum of 20 dine-in patrons per venue (excluding staff) * maintain hygiene and frequent cleaning * self-complete a COVID Safety Plan (available below) prior to re-opening (or expanding beyond ‘takeaway only’) and display a COVID Safety Plan Certificate * ensure staff have completed the AHA Hospitality & Tourism COVID-19 Hygiene Course before returning to work * maintain attendance records of patrons for the purposes of contact tracing (not including takeaway services) * carefully manage waiting areas to ensure social distancing * only serve alcohol ancillary to a meal * ensure alcohol is only consumed at a table (not counter service, or bar service). All businesses need to do their part to comply with these requirements and help mitigate the risks of COVID-19. COVID Safety Plans are an important part of ensuring that re-opening businesses does not increase the risk of spreading COVID-19. Failure to complete a COVID Safety Plan may mean your business is putting the community at risk. Authorised officers under the Emergency Management Act have the power to close premises and businesses that put the community at risk in this way.

14.01.2022 There’s plenty of community spirit dealt out in spades at your local surf lifesaving club where a largely volunteer crew go about saving lives. Our good friend ...Glenn Miller at @wanneroo_isuzu decided the fine folk at Mullaloo Surf Lifesaving Club needed better wheels than the crusty old Hilux they were using, so a brand spanking D-MAX is now doing sterling work at the beach. Our job was to skill them up in how to drive it and that we did on Back Beach at Lancelin in WA this weekend. Thanks team for your great camaraderie. It was a bag of fun. #isuzudmax #isuzudmax4x4 #isuzuuteaustralia #wannerooisuzuute #sanddriving #sanddrivingfun #learntodrive #4wdtrainers #4wd #greatmates #greatteammates #lancelin #lancelinbeachhotel #lancelinbeach #lancelinbackbeach #surflifesaving #clubbies @ Lancelin, Western Australia See more
