25.01.2022 When I first started lessons with the vibrantly-exceptional Steven, not only had I never driven stick-shift before, but it had been over two decades since I had... piloted a motorised vehicle (on the right-hand side of the road, no less!). In the weeks that followed, the brave and infinitely-patient Steve gradually built up my confidence, understanding, capability, and proficiency with regards to all aspects of this "fancy" vehicular style. Steve's humorous banter, positive nature, gentle encouragement, and professional teaching methodology all contributed to my eventual grasping of the manual art form - from 'finding the point of contact' to 'moving through the gears' to 'braking without wearing out the clutch'. In addition, Steve will ensure that you remain focused on the foundational aspects of driver safety... from situational awareness to "looking ahead" and merging skills, Steve takes his student's future well-being into account with every lesson. Managed to keep everyone calm and all worked out in the end with some careful planning. A great birthday present to you both. 01.01.2022 Tweed Heads Police are seeking the communities assistance. Between 4.50pm and 5.00pm on Monday the 16th of October 2017 a unknown male and female have entered ...the South Tweed Bunnings store and made their way to the gardening aisle. The female picked up a $799 Makita Chainsaw and made her way to an emergency fire exit located in the outdoor gardening section. The female smashed the fire button allowing the door to open where she has made her way to the car park. During this time the male has exited via the front entry. All movements were captured on CCTV. Tweed Heads Police are requesting the communities assistance to identify the male and female shown below who it is believed may be able to assist police with our inquiries. If anyone has information regarding the identity and whereabouts of the two people below can contact Tweed Heads police on 07 55069499 or Crime Stoppers on 1300 888 000.
