07.01.2022 Have you been recently notified by a sexual partner to get tested for Micoplasma Genitalium (Mg)? In both symptomatic or asymptomatic cases, we would advise you to go to Melbourne Sexual Health Centre (MSHC). Only MHSC is currently treating this STI, and for now we do not have much clarity on the window period or treatment method. 04.01.2022 Dear service users, As we are now in Stage 3 of Covid -19 lockdown, PRONTO services will start to resume again next week! Initially we will have one tester(Ash) working from Tuesday to Friday from 4.00pm to 7.30pm.... The restrictions on how long we can spend with a service user in the room means that we will only be offering 15 minutes XPRESS HIV Serology and STI screening at this time. Rapid HIV Testing will not be offered at this point. This is just the first phase of our service re-opening, and we are taking all necessary safety precautions. We will be increasing the number of testers and resuming Saturday bookings in the near future. For online bookings, please go to https://healthengine.com.au/book/63721 and under the All Practitioners Menu, select Rapid HIV and STI Test (not individual doctors). If you are on PrEP, select the PrEP Doctor in the All Practitioners menu for scripts, baseline testing and STI screening. Our Peer Testers cannot provide PrEP services. If you are Medicare ineligible, please be aware that fees for serology and STI testing apply and are payable on the day. Reception can provide more information. Thank you, and see you all soon!
