24.01.2022 This week we had our first ‘in-person’ session of the 2020 Student Programme. Great to finally meet the students and see them get to work on their enquiry projects. Thank you University of South Australia for the great venue and thank you to our partners CSIRO and Prince's Trust Australia



18.01.2022 Today, we took the students on a tour of the Whyalla port. Great to hear about its history, it’s activities and its employment opportunities.

15.01.2022 We’re very excited about the GFG Foundation Student Programme starting tomorrow, our first excursion to follow shortly. We’re not letting COVID-19 stand in our way and have an excellent programme online and hope to be in person learning in Term 4.



08.01.2022 Now in Week 6 of the Student Programme. The students were very excited to be on their first excursion of the programme, to the SIMEC mine site. COVIDSafe measures strictly in place, including use of face masks. Thank you to all involved in making the day out such a success!

02.01.2022 Today we called a long list of young people in Whyalla to let them know they are included in the 2020 Student Program. We have the mentor information session this evening. Looking forward to it all coming together next term!
