What we are looking for The successful application must be customer focused and maintain a high level of customer service. Strong logical thinking, able to identify new opportunities and make sound decisions in difficult circumstances. The confidence and ability to communicate with management, customers, and staff. Flexibility with rostering - this role may include 6.30am starts, 7pm finishes and weekend work Capable of undertaking physically demanding duties e.g. heavy lifting, working outdoors, and climbing up ladders. Create Point-of-Sale displays, negotiate shelf space and ensure merchandising materials are being displayed. This includes ensuring pricing and ticketing are correct, products are stocked and neatly displayed. Attention to detail with Store presentations Computer literate and strong POS computer skills Prefer applicants with general/trade hardware experience and/or a strong trade, building, or rural background. Good general knowledge through all departments of retail hardware including stock ordering, stock taking, liaising with supplier reps, and general day to day duties. Can adapt to new jobs and responsibilities within the business.
