25.01.2022 Red: Uh oh, Rafa's calling me again.......think I might stay here in the sun for a while before I make an appearance. He calls me a lot.....and I like it.....but I will respond when I'm in the mood, but for now, I'm busy!

24.01.2022 Chicko: It's good to be back at my holiday house, I've been coming here for a really long time. My Mum and Dad's holiday house is on wheels and they're going all around the place...... so glad Gilbert Cottage isn't on wheels, that just wouldn't do!

20.01.2022 Nala (Thierry's 'island girl' fur sister) has settled so beautifully. Her first visit to Gilbert Cottage has become one of discovery, with the local birds entertaining her by day, the possums at night, as well as meeting the other feline guests.....oh, and there's me too!

13.01.2022 I'm so very sad to say goodbye to Sapphi, a dear member of the Gilbert Cottage family. Her first visit here was in 2009 and she quickly claimed a place in my heart. Sapphi was beautifully cared for and loved by Meredith and Philip......they are missing their precious girl sorely. Thank you sweet Sapphi for the joy you brought to me, you are so loved, you always will be......

07.01.2022 Hugo: I'm an excellent bird stalker. If I keep really really still, that little bird will walk right towards me.......then I can pounce!......and then I will bounce off the window! Such fun!
