21.01.2022 SUPPORT FOR STEFAN: Stefan Carroll is a young man of 28 years from County Carlow, who recently suffered a traumatic spinal injury in an accident while swimming.... This moment has forever changed Stefan’s life and the lives of his loved ones. While he can never walk again, he can move his arms and there is great hope that as his rehabilitation continues, he may well regain the use of his hands. This appeal is to raise funds to assist Stefan in reaching that milestone. He is a fighter and has always been the hero to his little sister Halle, who decided the muscled arm of strength was an appropriate symbol of her big brothers determination to do the best he can. Every single dollar donated to this appeal will make a difference to Stefan, his rehabilitation and most importantly of all, his future. We are hosting an event day on Saturday, 19th June at the Queensland Gaelic Football & Hurling Association in Willawong. The family friendly event will consist of live Irish music, food, kids activities and a cash bar. It will also coincide with the Gaelic football, hurling & camogie. It is at moments like these that our community comes together and we remember that we are never truly alone, even if we are on the other side of the world.
