22.01.2022 About two and a half years ago I wrote a business plan. I wont bore you with the details but it was underpinned by a strong desire to connect rural women with each other, with inspirational people and reconnect them with what makes them feel alive. For a range of reasons I havent implemented that plan yet. The bizarre thing is there are a few people on the same wave length. One of whom I used to chat with out the front of my house as she walked past (we lived in the same st...reet) and who has now become my neighbour in a completely new location. Its funny how the world works. Long story short she has this awesome place tucked away in the back of her divine home on this peaceful road I call paradise. Tomorrow she is hosting the super inspiring @lisamessenger (who I missed seeing in Sydney a couple of years ago) . Kudos to Lisa for rolling out a regional tour but also kudos to all the regional men and women doing their bit to keep us all connected. Hats off to you @thebackroomworkshop you are doing a great job x . To top it all off @livingfloral has whipped up the table centres from cotton which I have been stalking. 18.01.2022 Yesterday our kids went back to school. Master 7 informed me last night they did way too much work stuff for the first day and he had to fill out a form about all of the things he likes. Apparently they keep it at school and re-do it again at the end of the year to see if things change. He wasnt impressed. 17.01.2022 Things Ive done today.... 1. Implemented my 2018 budget plan whilst simultaneously googling pools and outdoor areas 2. Made a promise to myself to exercise without guilt this year 3. Hid in the cupboard eating chocolate and made the packet look unopened so I dont have to share 4. Been super excited that my three year old daughter decided she would play Drs hoping this was an indication of her future success... 5. Wished my daughter would stop trying to fix my medical issues.
