24.01.2022 Last Friday we held our annual Athletics Carnival. Unfortunately this year there were no representative competitions which followed on, however we still held the day so that our students could have some fun. Congratulations to the Mighty Manumbar team for the overall win for the day. All students showed great spirit and enthusiasm in all events.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Shaelee Dale and Adam Marks who were successful in their applications and interviews to be part of the Harvest Jobs Program which ran over the recent school holidays. 18.01.2022 On Tuesday 18 students competed in the BDSSS Winter Finals Day. Ms Corvino’s Intermediate Basketball came second in the competition overall and Miss Wigginton’s Intermediate Netball came also second overall. Congratulations to these teams for their outstanding results.

18.01.2022 Next week is Teacher Aide Appreciation Week. A great chance to take time to recognise the wonderfull support that Teacher Aides are in the development of our students. We really couldn't do it without you, thank you so much.

13.01.2022 NAIDOC runs from the 8 - 15 of November. Unfortunately we haven't been able to hold any events to celebrate but we are still acknowledging the importance of NAIDOC in our community.

07.01.2022 Over the weekend Gin Gin SHS had 3 teams represent us at the Qld Volleyball Schools Cup which was held at the Gold Coast. The Year 8’s finished 6th in their Division The Year 9s finished 7th in their Division The Year 10s finished 5th in their Division Our thanks to Miss Hayden-Brooks, Mr Findlay and Mr Webster for Coaching, and Mrs Cislowski for managing the teams for the weekend.

02.01.2022 This morning Gin Gin SHS was recognised for the amazing contribution that was made to the Cancer Council's Relay For Life. Gin Gin SHS raised $4808.00 which is incredible for our small community. Great recognition for the hard work of our year 12 students and staff who participated.
