BELCONNEN PARKWOOD CHAPEL OPENING SOUTHWELL FAMILY SOCIETY AUSTRALIA INC APR 28 - APR 29 About Parkwood Chapel was built in 1880 as a place of worship for family and surrounds by Thomas Southwell who was a pioneer of the district. The stone building has 50cm thick walls and was re-furbished in 2010. Open Sunday 12-4pm, Monday 10am-2pm.
