This wedge tail become entangled in a fence whilst our fury friend had been hit by a car. Sadly folks both are no longer living among us, their injuries to great! 24.01.2022 Hi folks, We received a call from Victoria Police last night seeking assistance to help this gorgeous boy that had unfortunately gone head to head with a car. Seeking refuge in a tree the delicate rescue required additional support. A heartfelt thanks go out to Heather, Lukas & Aaron. In shock the koala baptized one of our rescuers, seemed fitting to affectionately name this koala "Lukas" With sustained head injuries & severe eye socket damage "lukas" is now receiving veteri...nary care. Our hope now is for a great outcome & serves as a timely reminder that we share our roads with our precious native wildlife. Meanwhile within the last hour we were called to remove & relocate this un banded tiger snake happily hanging out in a ladies seedling tray. The warm day has drawn this chap out from his slumber. So if your gardening please be alert,wear gloves & long sleeve shirt. See more

Travelled to Port Melbourne to specially meet up with these awesome guys & have them sign their contract. Smiles all round whilst they treated us to Melbournes bean scene & way of life. She was just sitting back, arms crossed wondering what all the fuss was about. None the less its great to know people are on the look out for a koalas welfare! Would like to say a big THANK YOU for ALL your comments & support for "Lukas" the koala.Sadly with a heavy heart I write to tell you that despite the best veterinary care little Lukas injuries were just to severe to come back from. Its another loss from a species thats undeniably on the decline.
