19.01.2022 1 March 2017: Cash flow is like water flow - you have to control both. And Rivulis, another first-time exhibitor at this years expo, has a new finance package to assist growers purchasing irrigation systems and farm equipment. The finance offering, designed to meet a unique gap in the market, was developed over nine months in collaboration with a major financial institution. Matt Clift, Rivulis Irrigations Marketing and Business Development Manager, said the company was exc...ited about the new service because growers can access irrigation finance without using their property as security. Rivulis Irrigation Finance is different because we use the irrigation system itself as security. We have developed a package that is competitive with other lenders, and is flexible so that growers have various financing options including seasonal payments, Mr Clift said. Rivulis Irrigation Finance is not limited to Rivulis Irrigation products only; a grower can also take out a package that covers pumps, automation and other farm equipment. * T&Cs apply. Only available to approved customers in Australia. For more information www.rivulis.com.au/finance / 1800 558 009 See more

11.01.2022 11 March 2017: We look to the irrigators of northern Victoria who have faced a 41% average reduction in long-term water deliveries, according to this new State Government report. The report, released late last week, highlights the importance of irrigated Gippsland food production. Our water-secure region has opportunities - and responsibilities - to ensure food security for our state. http://delwp.vic.gov.au//social-and-economic-impacts-of-th

08.01.2022 27 February 2017: Get yourself to the March 15 expo to see the Sterling Pumps display. Made in Pakenham, Sterling Pumps is one of Australias largest manufacturers of submersible pumps and motors, vertical turbine pumps and solar irrigation pumps. Their small, highly-efficient DC bore pumps can run directly off two to 10 solar panels or, if more water is needed overnight, can be plugged directly into a 240v power supply of generator without the need of a control unit. The larger AC-hybrid systems can mix solar and mains or generator power, or load share between solar and direct drive diesel. The unit is programmable via a web page or app, allowing the operator to monitor output and condition of engines, bore pump and motor. Daily or hourly output program can also be changed remotely. http://sterlingpumps.com.au/

07.01.2022 16 March 2017: Well ... what a day! More than 400 people passed through the Sale showgrounds pavilion looking at the latest in irrigation technologies. They came, they saw and ... yes ... they bought. Some exhibitors reporting making substantial sales on the day, Some have some very strong sales leads. One return exhibitor reported that, from the 2015 event, he made about $100K sales from the event and ongoing total sales of around $100K. Another reported how he sold a $60K unit to one attendee. We are hoping there will be similar investments in this important infrastructure from this years event. And this is how its done... hard work and long hours ... unloading equipment at 6.17am
