25.01.2022 This years final mob of Gipsy Plains weaners on a two day trek to their new paddocks at Cotswold. A family affair with our regular crew and our travelling nomad helpers. A good job done everyone.

GARDENING ON OUTBACK CATTLE STATION 2020 Would you like to experience life on an outback cattle station in the Cloncurry area N W QLD Free camping is available for those with their own caravan in exchange for maintenance of station gardens and caring for animals. Any additional remuneration negotiated on skill base and hours worked. Gardens are currently well kept and are now ready for the vegetable planting season. If you wish to be involved in the station activities, this can be arranged when suitable. Enjoy the magic sunsets and sunrises of an outback summer season. Power, water, laundry facilities and some station produce is included. Mobile and internet connection is available. 23.01.2022 This week 160 females from the wind up of the Kaiuroo stud (previously Tartrus) arrived at their new home. Gipsy Plains. These females are a product of the lengthy fertility trials undertaken by Kaiuroo. A valuable addition to our herd.

20.01.2022 Mustering at Gipsy Plains, round one. Our bull selling season starts up next month. Working with cattle quietly and giving them a good life while on the farm is a major part of producing the tender beef which ends up on our table.

We saw him as a weaner and ticked him off as a 5 star animal. Very happy to introduce him into our herd. Congratulations go to the breeders, David and Julie McCamley. The Big Country Brahman sale over the last two days had a full clearance of 289 bulls which sold for an average of $15,640.
