18.01.2022 Big news! As we move into Phase 3 of WA's Roadmap, we are happy to announce that face-to-face Guiding will resume in the week starting 15 June, 2020. This timef...rame will allow us to get info out to Units to ensure we are Covid-19 safe and necessary procedures are in place. We are so excited and cannot wait to see our Girl Guide friends again!

14.01.2022 Local residents are advised they may hear a series of loud noises and see flares released on Thursday 19 November, as part of HMAS Sydney II 79th Commemorations.... At approximately 7pm, a large blank cannon shot will be fired as well as a display of multiple flares off the coast as part of the ceremony, supported by Marine Rescue Geraldton and WestCoast Fireworks This years’ service will take place in a digital format with a pre-recorded ceremony broadcasted here on the City’s Facebook page from 5:45pm.

There has been a huge response to this challenge so don'...t worry if you did not receive your email yet, details are also going to States for confirmation of membership (Challenge 2 will be quicker as this will already have been done). The next email will go out next week and LEGO will be sent to the first 10 Units who upload your Unit's completed challenges from this round of registrations and 10 Units from those who receive their email next week. 09.01.2022 We are seeking stories by Girl Guides for our next state magazine! Have you done something cool at Guides? Has your Unit achieved something awesome? Have you ...grown personally through Guiding and want to explain how? Become a contributor to the upcoming edition of Wagtale Magazine, powered completely by WA Guides, publication in October 2020! Keen? details below... Girl Guides from age 5 to 17 are invited to contribute. Parents are allowed to assist Guides with less developed writing skills. Aim for no more than 400 words and shorter pieces are welcome. Please send photos with your story. We'll need to know who is in each photo. Send it in by midnight 20 September, 2020. Yes you can use this towards the 'The Arts' or 'Open Book' challenge badges! Your piece may be published in Term 4 Wagtale Magazine or if we receive too many pieces, we will publish it on our social media profiles. Send your written piece to [email protected] or DM us here.
