25.01.2022 Last Monday we 'cooked' online with the Juniors. After much heart searching, we realized that having girls measure out flour/sugar etc near computers was NOT a good idea, so we hosted our own cooking show with our resident prize winning pastry chef Leisha Spowart and made cupcakes. The challenge for the girls was to make their own, decorate them then send us the pictures :) Pity we wont get to taste them *sigh*

25.01.2022 How special that the cadets could finish their puppet theatres - even if they can't come to Girls' Brigade. They have done such a great job.

23.01.2022 Despite a public holiday, the juniors have been busy with a jigsaw/photo challenge. Psalm 119:105

21.01.2022 What fun online, but we are looking forward to being together - soon! ITM the cadets started their travel achievement and the Juniors revised Noah's ark and cooperation. The seniors looked at photography and the wonderful colours and patterns in God's creation. The Pioneers finished the night looking at community - how wonderful that we plan separately, but God weaves it all together :)

21.01.2022 The seniors' photography is going well - this week was something that is special to them. It is obvious what is special! PETS.

18.01.2022 Girls' Brigade Bendigo is starting up again tonight. 5:30pm Cadets, 6:15pm Juniors, 7pm Seniors, 7:15pm Pioneers. We are online for 4 more weeks (unless things don't change in Victoria and we have to stay in isolation).

18.01.2022 This has been so exciting!

16.01.2022 We have been able to put 3 of our pioneers so far through PLT training this year - not what it normally looks like, but Teams has allowed these experiences to be national rather than Victorian as normal. Thanks to leaders from QLD, NSW, ACT, Vic & Tas for making it happen #PLT

14.01.2022 The Pioneers are doing the achievement "Domestic Goddess". The topic (DIY) often focusses on learning to use power tools, or changing light globes but that is not possible at the moment. Instead we learned to fix holes in socks. The girls did well on their first attempt of darning.

14.01.2022 The seniors are continuing with their photography - look at the texture created here by one of the girls. Can you guess what it is? Comment below.

13.01.2022 We had hoped to be able to meet face to face from 10th Aug but it was not to be. Instead we put together kits for the juniors to take them through to the end of the term.

11.01.2022 The girls have been busy drawing pictures and writing stories to share with shut-ins around Bendigo. The pioneers designed the sheets and later this week the sheets will be taken to the City of Greater Bendigo for their community show kindness project.

11.01.2022 Well we did it- Monday night (20 April) was our first online GB program. What an experience. It was fun, intense, challenging, funny and we are looking forward to next week. What did it include? Puppets, singing, stories, SPEED STACKS! dressing up and treasure hunting and lots of hellos!

10.01.2022 The cadets did a colouring competition these last school holidays. It was great to receive their lovely pictures.

09.01.2022 Well done to the cadet leaders - they did a craft with the girls online. They started a new achievement, friends, looked at some qualities of friends then made a hand and listed the qualities on the hands! Woo hoo! You go girls!

05.01.2022 The challenge for the years 6-12 was to create a crest in either lego or some other medium. Due to COVID-19 restrictions I could not taste the cake or pancake but they look GREAT!

04.01.2022 Last week most of the girls were posted a pack to make a gift for their mothers - can't wait to hear how they went tonight and see what their gifts looked like. This is the juniors (G3-5) pack

03.01.2022 Tonight the juniors had a special games night, in teams. Being able to move in and out of breakout rooms added to the excitement and depth of the activities. It started with minties and balloons.
