23.01.2022 A Reminder for the first few weeks we need to book you in for classes. You must type name/names, day and times to book in. We are currently capped at 20 students per class, but expecting to have no cap after 1st of July. Thank you for your assistance and understanding.



23.01.2022 The kids were outside enjoying having sensei Pat run them all around for the first part of the night The teenagers and adults were inside with a night focused on kata. Working from 1st kata through to saifa. Starting off with exaggerating stances to get a stretch and then speed to get a sweat going. After a break kids worked on combinations while the older group put the focus mitts on do some cardio work. To finish off everyone worked through kata.

18.01.2022 It was wet outside but everyone still turned up to train Sensei Ulf took the warm up and then it was onto some basics and combos. After a quick break it was the first week we were able to get back into some sparring Those who didn't have gear either worked on kata or yellow and white belts worked on their grading formats. Good luck to everyone going to grading this weekend, we know you're all going to smash it

15.01.2022 Another great turnout. After warm up and done basics to get moving we broke into kata groups. White belts with sensei Ruth focused on basics, yellow belts on the stage, green/ blue with sensei Pat and red+ work sensei Shaun. Lots of kata to work on the finer points on stances and transitions. After that it was kumite combinations for white and yellow belts, while the higher grades worked on their next higher grade kata. Great work by everyone tonight.

13.01.2022 Missing a few people but everyone still put in . After a warm up with push ups and star jump sumo squats (!), it was into basics and combos. Then we moved into some sparing (at a safe distance). Putting our basics into a bit of practice. To finish the night off it was kata, all the coloured belts gave seienchin a go tonight for a bit of variation..

13.01.2022 The class was split into white to orange belts outside with sensei Pat. They started off with basics then onto combinations and blocks with partners. (A few too many push ups required though!) Everyone else was inside with sensei Shaun working with partners on kata, kicks and more advanced combinations. To finish the night off we worked on sparing technique, stepping into block and some kumite (with fitness in between rounds) Congratulations to Leon on grading to yellow tip tonight

11.01.2022 A warm night tonight and the hard work only made it warmer Sensei Brendan got everyone warm then it was onto basics for whites while coloured grades worked through combinations. After that the white and yellow belts were outside working on basics in stance. Orange and above were inside working on kata before they all smashed through some of the red belt grading combinations. 09.01.2022 There was a bit of everything tonight across the grades. After a warm up it was into basics on long stance with some fitness thrown in. Then we broke into kata groups, with the higher grades outside. White belts continued to work on basics. To finish off the night there as some self defence and grappling for the high grades.

08.01.2022 Big class tonight, luckily a few extra senseis were on hand to help out. Sensei Shaun got everyone nice and warm, then the focus was on basics. Higher grades had a few extra combinations at the same time. After that everyone broke into grade kata groups as we fine tuned stances and technique. Great to see everyone focused and work hard

08.01.2022 Quite a few of us will be sore in the morning after tonight! Those that had sparing gear worked hard. Sparing, broken up with cardio and kata - all with mitts and pads on! Sensei Shaun pushed everyone Everyone else was outside with sensei Pat working through basics and combinations. Special mention to Louay for assisting sensei Pat after getting injured

04.01.2022 Sensei Pat had the night off, so senseis Brendan and Ruth took the warm up After that it was into basics and combinations. Then everyone partnered up and we started to work on sparing skills. Strike speed was focused on with the slower one having to do a push up! After that all the coloured belts worked on block/counter combinations while the white belts continued with basics. For the last part of class it was slow motion kata. Great to see all the new belt colour in the dojo tonight.

04.01.2022 First night back in the dojo 2 classes. First class focused on basic strikes and punches. Finishing with kata inside and outside, so that everyone had plenty of space. Second class was a kata class, as we had plenty of room in the dojo. Was great to see everyone so keen to get back into training.

03.01.2022 First week of holidays and it was still a great turnout Squats, sit ups, push ups to warm up. Sensei Pat brought out the focus mitts and labelled them for everyone as they walked in! Everyone worked on strikes into the focus mitts, combinations and some basics for the white belts. Some core strengthening after that. ... After 7:30 it was time to work on kata for the coloured belts. Tonight we welcomed Amrit to Wattle Grove, he was so keen he stayed until 8! See more

03.01.2022 Perfect night to open up and work outside tonight. Sensei Pat had everyone warm up outside. Then everyone split into groups. White and yellow belts stayed outside and worked on defence using the noodles. Orange and green belts started on kata. Higher grades kicked the bags, technique then into tabata work to get the heart rate up. ... After a break the kata and bag groups swapped. After a few kata rounds for each grade it was core work to finish the night off. See more

01.01.2022 A final reminder to ALL students attempting grading tomorrow. All White Belts Attempting Yellow Belt 9am-10am. Please be there 8.45am at the latest to register and warm up... All Other student attempting Orange Belt, Green Belt, Blue Belt, Red Belt and Brown Belt will start at 10.30am. Please be there 10.15am at the latest to register and warm up. This was texted was yesterday also Address Unit 1 6-8 Porrende St Narellan. Also based on Sqm rule we can have 35 people across each floor. Please be mindful if we need to adjust spectators in and out whilst grading. Hopefully this is not too much longer. We'll see you there and good luck.
