22.01.2022 What a day!!! Our last class of 2020 at the beach, all 151 of us!! Such an awesome way to finish off the year! We would like to thank all of our Students and p...arents for their support and commitment to training over the last year. 2020 has been a challenging year on many levels for a lot of people, both inside and outside of the dojo. Everyone's ability to come together as a strong team and reach their goals has been outstanding!! We look forward to seeing you all in the dojo from the 4th of January 2021. Until then, we hope you all have a fantastic, plentiful, safe and memorable Christmas and new year break. Spend time with the special people in your lives and eat lots. 19.01.2022 Well that is a wrap for 2020. What a year it has been. It has been absolutely inspirational to see the perseverance, strength, personal character and karate sp...irit shine through from all our students. You should all be extremely proud of the way you are finishing what has been an unprecedented year. 2020, the year you all continued to achieve your goals and focus on those ahead. Weve broken so many records as a region this year and this means we must come back even bigger and stronger for 2021. Here is a little recap of where we begun and how we ended up.

15.01.2022 School Holiday Instructor Training We invite you to come and train with your Sensei this January! This is only during the school holidays.... If you want to add an extra lesson, develop, learn or see if you're faster than your Sensei , then get to at least 1 or all of the school holiday senior training sessions. Wednesday the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th of January 7:45pm-9:30pm. Prime DOJO, Unit 3/2-6 Tulloch Way Canning Vale. All grades welcome Normal training fees apply. No bring a friends allowed.

14.01.2022 Dear GKR students and families, 2020 has been an extraordinary year, filled with many unexpected twists and turns. We thank you for your patience as our classes... closed and openedand closed again in various parts of the world. Despite the chaos, the events of this year have no doubt made us more resilient and reminded us not to take our good health for granted. Our thoughts are with those who have been adversely affected by the events of this year and we thank everyone who has been working on the frontlines providing health care or other essential services throughout the most difficult times. On behalf of everyone at GKR Karate, we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and Happy New Year. Our first day back for classes next year is January the 4th. Please check with your local dojo for reopening dates. We look forward to seeing you in 2021!

13.01.2022 Exciting news All classes will reopen as of tomorrow. SATURDAY the 6th of February. Please be mindful that we will have the following rules in place. ... - You must sign or scan into the contact registry. - Anyone entering the dojo who is 12 years or over must wear a mask. If you are under 12 we do still encourage mask wearing. - If you are sick or showing signs of not being well please stay home. 01.01.2022 ALL Students. Our tournament is this Sunday We will have a Coffee van attending from 830am which will accept Cash or Card... We will also have a sausage sizzle, drinks and packets of chips available to purchase from our BBQ area. CASH ONLYso bring your spare change please. Money from both of these will go towards fund-raising for new equipment for our students. We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
