Congratulations to all those who have s...tarted their karate journey! We now have a category just for you - Karate for Beginners. We already have a number of videos in this category, with more coming soon... Some of these videos explain some basic concepts in karate, such as why we Shout (Kiai), why we bow, or even wear our funny white pyjamas. Beginner techniques tutorials (which will grow each week) And finally, classes designed for beginners. We will be adding to these regularly. For those experienced students, perhaps this section will also offer greater insight into your training. 08.01.2022 We are back!!!! Cranebrook dojo isn’t ready yet but Sensei Jason will be teaching at nearby Cambridge Park High School at the same time; Fridays, until Cranebrook is ready. You are welcome at to join us again on Friday or any other session. You should receive an email with a link to take you to the booking website to pre-book a place. This is important as there are session limits. The booking system is instant; you can see what spaces are available. ... The email also details training fees and safety protocols for being COVID safe. Looking forward to seeing you again!

05.01.2022 Life has thrown us a temporary curve ball, but that doesn't mean our health, fitness, self-defence skills or enjoyment of karate has to end. During this peculi...ar period, GKR Karate is bringing the dojo to you. Online classes for all grades and ages, covering all facets of training; and all classes are designed with limited space in mind. There is no reason why your skills and fitness can't continue to improve right now. It just requires a tiny bit of self-discipline on your part to get the ball rolling. And the beauty of self-discipline, is its only difficult for a few minutes, because after this, motivation to keep going kicks in.
