25.01.2022 Lions loose tight game in penalties again QLD Thunder. After being down 9-6 at 3/4Q time Lions fought back to lock it up at 9-9 at full time. Unfortunately they couldnt covert on penalties with final score 13-11. In busy Rd 2 action Lions play again tonight, 7.30 at SU pool. Get down and show them some support.

25.01.2022 Unfortunately the Lions will not be defending their their title despite Butchs best efforts with 3 goals in the 4th Q, the Lions went down to Drummoyne and will now play for Bronze against Freo At 9.30.am. An early start but we would love your support. Lions Roar.

25.01.2022 Very tough second game for Lions against QLD Thunder tonight. With a few frontline players missing the Lions were in it at half time down 7-5 however some defensive errors in second half saw the end score blow out to 15-10. Tough time for the team at the moment and the boys would welcome some support for Sundays 3.30 return game against UWA.

15.01.2022 Lions U 12's win for 4th Year in a Row. Coaches Lindsay and Troy have guided the boys to another Gold winning performance in the State tournament in Orange over the weekend. The Blue team defeated Wests 7-2 in the Final while the Gold development team also had a great tournament narrowly losing 7-5 to Cronulla in the Bronze medal play-off.

15.01.2022 Our U15 SUNS team took out the bronze medal in the Pacer Invitational held this week in Singapore. The team had a undefeated run through the group and quarter final stages of the competition with four clean wins. But unfortunately they came up against a strong home team, and ultimate gold medalists, in the semi final, going down by 2 goals. Despite the disappointment the team, drawn from multiple 16s and 14s Metro teams, regrouped for a decisive 18-4 bronze medal win over t...he only other Australian team in the competition. Congratulations to Xander Mercer who took out the award for tournament top scorer. Many of our eligible boys played only 14s so this makes it a wonderful achievement to still qualify. 05.01.2022 Successful road trip to Adelaide with Lions coming away with 2 wins, 12-10 yesterday and 12-6 in today's game. Shout out to our Born 01 Goalie Tom Harris who after getting some National league game time earlier this month played the full game today pulling in some great saves. Despite being without AH this year both Camo and Tom have stepped up and look solid in the cage.

05.01.2022 Tough night for the Lions down a couple of players and up against a hot UNSW Wests team containing 6 players who played for Australia in recent tests against Japan plus a quality import. Q1 down 2-3, HT 4-7, Q3 4-9 and FT 6-12. That's it for Rd 3 for Lions, Road trip to Adelaide for 2 games next week-end.

Competing as the Sydney University SUNS, 11 boys from years 7-10 from Knox Grammar school won a bronze medal at the 2nd Pacer International Water Polo competition.
