24.01.2022 Welcome back to 2019! Great to see students back for our first training session for 2019. We are still outside while the hall is being renovated but it meant there was a lovely breeze. Great fun with some basics followed by partner work with noodles and finished up with an all in peg game. Congratulations Andrew S for taking out the title.

Sensei Mark McConnell and our instructor team are coming together to deliver this class.... This class is being run to help out one of our Awesome Karate Mums who is very unwell and facing a challenging battle ahead and 100% of monies raised is going to help her in this difficult times. 14.01.2022 Hi everyone, we are holding a fundraising trivia night for the Gold Coast team, competing at the World Cup in the UK in June 2019. Date: Saturday March 2nd at Robina Bowls Club, 6:30pm. Cost: $25 per person or table of 10 $250 (if you wish to have your own team). Includes hot platter (you can bring your own nibbles, but drinks must be purchased from club)... There will be prizes, raffles, auctions,silent auctions for some pretty cool stuff and Sensei auctions - bid for a two hour private karate tuition with the following Sensei's: Sensei Matt Sullivan, Sensei Phil, Sensei Ross, Sensei Grant, Sensei Mark McConnell and a few more to be confirmed. Register your team or individual numbers with me as soon as possible. 16 tables of 10 players only, kids welcome, trivia will be a range of questions for all ages and interests not just Karate. 04.01.2022 Dear Students, After a long awaited time, we are excited to announce that your dojo is now reopening, although we need to adhere the COVID guidelines of 20 per class until further restriction are lifted. As for the NSW classes, these will resume back in the first week of the NSW school holidays. 02.01.2022 Hi Everyone, The deadline to get your jacket orders in is coming this Sunday. So please hand your completed ‘Student Jacket Order Form’ with payment back to your instructors by Sunday 8th September. If your unable to hand it into your instructor you can email to [email protected] and I’ll submit it for you.... The jacket is priced at $79 and looks amazing. ( I’ve seen one ) The new club badge is embroidered on the front All writing and kanji on the back is embroidered also There are 2 zip pockets at the front The sizings are pretty standard ie: if you’re usually a medium then order a medium. If you want to wear it over a canvass uniform, then you could possibly go up a size? The material is the ‘standard tracksuit’ kind (ie: nylon/parachute material) We have included an indicative age chart to help parents choose the correct size. 02.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Only 3 more sleeps until Shihan Anthony’s Seminar. I’ve been fortunate enough to train with and under Shihan many times over the years and I always look forward to the karate session that he teaches at our Manager’s Conferences.... Over the years there have been Instructors who have left inside me a burning desire to learn and improve after training in their class. Shihan is one of those amazing people. He will motivate every muscle in your body and leave you wanting more and more and more. I know Sunday is Fathers Day but the seminar is on in the evening when dad is probably tuckered out after his big day & will be probably having a nap on the lounge So get excited and get registered for one of the most amazing Zoom sessions you will have ever had.
