25.01.2022 Great work out at the tournament class this afternoon. Started off with agility drills and worked on kumite drills as well. Finished off with Kata and Kumite ring practice. Only two weeks out to the tournament, everyone yellow belt and above welcome at this class to pick up some tips and skills. Promise to take some pictures next week.....

25.01.2022 NATIONAL TITLES REMINDER!!! Remember that if you entered any GKR Tournament this year you have qualified for our National Championships here on the Gold Coast next month. If you haven’t done so already then print out your form and hand it to your instructor or email it directly to Sensei Mark Case at [email protected] or ring Sensei David on 0427484507 if you need a form emailed to you.

25.01.2022 Hi Everyone, The deadline to get your jacket orders in is coming this Sunday. So please hand your completed ‘Student Jacket Order Form’ with payment back to your instructors by Sunday 8th September. If your unable to hand it into your instructor you can email to [email protected] and I’ll submit it for you.... The jacket is priced at $79 and looks amazing. ( I’ve seen one ) The new club badge is embroidered on the front All writing and kanji on the back is embroidered also There are 2 zip pockets at the front The sizings are pretty standard ie: if you’re usually a medium then order a medium. If you want to wear it over a canvass uniform, then you could possibly go up a size? The material is the ‘standard tracksuit’ kind (ie: nylon/parachute material) We have included an indicative age chart to help parents choose the correct size. Started off with grading combinations, continued with kicks and then finished off with Kata. 03.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Only 3 more sleeps until Shihan Anthony’s Seminar. I’ve been fortunate enough to train with and under Shihan many times over the years and I always look forward to the karate session that he teaches at our Manager’s Conferences.... Over the years there have been Instructors who have left inside me a burning desire to learn and improve after training in their class. Shihan is one of those amazing people. He will motivate every muscle in your body and leave you wanting more and more and more. I know Sunday is Fathers Day but the seminar is on in the evening when dad is probably tuckered out after his big day & will be probably having a nap on the lounge So get excited and get registered for one of the most amazing Zoom sessions you will have ever had.
