22.01.2022 FACE MASKS We have received MANY enquiries regarding wearing face masks while at the Dojo, following the latest announcement by the NSW Government The wearin...g of face masks in school halls/ training halls is NOT mandatory. We do not fall under any of the indoor venue categories listed by the NSW State Government. However, if you WANT to wear a face mask please do. **PLEASE continue to abide by our COVID-19 safety protocols nonetheless! Happy training!

So many in class gradings in the last couple of weeks - congratulations to Bailey, Lana, Maddison, Jaida, River, Kate, Hunter, Ava, Peyton, Ethan, Blake, Bruce, Lucy.... well done! 19.01.2022 Congratulations to all students who graded to their next belts today! Well done to Mia who got her yellow belt, and Ellie, Jye and Rebecca who received their blue belts. Thanks to Sensei Robyn again for these fantastic pics!

19.01.2022 Some photos of the second class’s activities last night at Vincentia dojo. We concentrated on combos and kata, and managed to fit a game in at the end. Despite good intentions, I missed getting some photos of our awesome first class, where we focussed on our basics, including the higher level strikes and blocks for the higher belt group. One student enjoyed haito so much he was practicing it on dad on the way out. Keep up the good work guys!

19.01.2022 Congratulations to our students who graded to their new belts yesterday! Angus received his orange belt after doing some excellent kata! There was also Kaylah, Jayden, Elias, Thao, Linden and Lucy who all put effort and energy to achieve their yellow belts. Well done all!! So, who will be next...... February is not that far away! 16.01.2022 Wow! 12 students from Vincentia dojo graded to their next belt levels yesterday. Congratulations to Tara-Lee, Amy, Ava, Patrick, Hunter, River, Bonnie, Mia and Katie on achieving their yellow belts. And also big congratulations to Lachlan and Jayden for their orange belts, and last but not least Chantelle for her brown belt!!! Phew, what a phenomenal day! Stay tuned for some action shots.

14.01.2022 Dear GKR students and families, 2020 has been an extraordinary year, filled with many unexpected twists and turns. We thank you for your patience as our classes... closed and openedand closed again in various parts of the world. Despite the chaos, the events of this year have no doubt made us more resilient and reminded us not to take our good health for granted. Our thoughts are with those who have been adversely affected by the events of this year and we thank everyone who has been working on the frontlines providing health care or other essential services throughout the most difficult times. On behalf of everyone at GKR Karate, we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and Happy New Year. Our first day back for classes next year is January the 4th. Please check with your local dojo for reopening dates. We look forward to seeing you in 2021!
