So Id like to know you are all still training and exercising at least once a week. (Dont eat too much chocolate). Heres the challenge. Id like to see what Easter HAT you would of worn to karate tonight. Take a photo of you with your hat on post it here so we can all see (home made because you have spare time ) East...er hat and your best karate stance. Who knows. Sensei May have a prize for you . 21.01.2022 NEWS LETTER FROM SENSEI LUKE CARRUTHERS Hello all. Hope everyone is well and staying safe. So whats been happening over the past 3 weeks??... Just on the off chance you werent aware all direct debit payment for training fees were suspended on the 23rd of March and wont resume until classes go back to normal. This includes those students who have 3 month and 6 month passes and the 12 visit passes dont expire anyway. We launched the Online Dojo enabling our students and Instructors to continue their training and keep moving forward toward their next grades. The online dojo is only $7.95 per week per house hold unlimited access. AMAZING value considering the content that is available there. The subscription fee of $7.95 although small and not an indication of the value you are getting is going a long way toward helping to financially support the club during the closure of our regular classes as we are doing all we can to make sure we keep the club running and more importantly have a club to come back too. So any support we have through online subscriptions is greatly appreciated and a sincere thank you to those R26 students who have already joined the online dojo. For now it doesnt look like our lock down is going to end anytime soon and I would hate for any of you to give up on your karate goals and aspirations as a result of our current circumstances so I am encouraging every student, if you havent yet to subscribe to the online dojo ( the training content there is AMAZING) and continue your regular training habits. this lock down will end at some stage and we will be back in the dojo and YOU need to be using this time to get yourself ready for your next grade. Note: your grading syllabuses have been posted to your dojo page so make sure you get that and get to work.. GREAT NEWS: We are opening the online dojo to friends and family who are non-members of GKR. we appreciate there is a lot of people out there starting to go a little stir-crazy with this lock down, and 1000s of kids being home schooled without any structured PE program so we have opened the doors allowing non-members to subscribe and start learning a martial art at home. if you have friends who have questions on how to get involved just email me [email protected]. for those who are in the online dojo community.. Watch this space as we are working on some exciting additions to the content regarding your training to be released soon..
