24.01.2022 On a happier note, check out our new jackets! Thanks to Jade Kelly from Shadygum Performance Horses & Design, for designing our new logo for our up & coming junior sire, GPH Pepto’s Freestyler. Evie was more than happy to model her favourite boy Pepto’s new jacket & logo! ... Pepto will be standing at stud for his first season this year and is already proving himself in the Campdraft, Stockmans Challenge and Working Cowhorse arenas with wins and placings from limited starts in the last 12 months. 18.01.2022 GPH Acres Little Dust Devil Born early New Year’s Day (1/1/19) between dust storms here at Gooloogong. Thanks to the drought we’ve had lots of dust storms and whirly whirlys, or as the aboriginals call them Dust Devils, hence his name! Out of Glasson Freemans Bodhi (ASH) by Haydon Acres (ASH) A handsome, leggy and very cheeky little man, we are excited for Evie’s future champion! Hopefully a combination that will have lots of fun and one to keep an eye on at drafts, challenges and polocrosse!

Sire: Docs Truman (AQHA) -By Docs Spinifex Bonnie is a well put together and athletic filly that comes from a line of Campdraft, Challenge, Working Cow Horse and Polocrosse winners & placegetters on both dam & sire sides. With the right person & education she will become a top competition mare and later on broodmare. We had planned on keeping this filly for ourselves to compete as she is the same dam line as our junior stallion, Peptos Freestyler, and from the sire line of Docs Spinifex being competitive cow horses. Due to no fault of her own she is selling unbroken & unregistered. 16.01.2022 Looking not too bad for 27! My old mare Dellhand Little Kate aka Coady (Dell Mingo cross Beggar Bingo bred) She’s the foundation mare of our stud. Of all the horses I’ve bred over the years, nearly most of them go back to this old girl! Including our stud sire, GPH Pepto’s Freestyler She hasn’t been bred for the last couple of years due to the drought, but seeing it’s so far a good season we are going to join her to a Conman colt next month. Fingers crossed she joins otherwise she can keep enjoying her retirement with her pals Chops & Junior!

15.01.2022 Geebung Hustler will be standing at Glasson Performance Horses at Gooloogong around October for some time for anyone in the Central West who’s be interested in joining a mare to this handsome son of Hazelwood Conman out of a Blue Moon Mystic mare by Adios Reflect. Bred in the purple this young sire is one to keep an eye on in the future!

15.01.2022 Had a lovely day handling the youngsters today! Trimmed up some straggly manes, a drench, a bit of leading & tying up, rugged the 2yo filly and weaned the 2 foals. Also scored a little shower of rain. Hopefully there’s more to come! The 2yo bay filly (Bonnie), chestnut yearling colt (Jaguar) & weanling roan colt are all for sale! 14.01.2022 Unfortunately these 2 lovely boys need to go. We are offering them both well under priced but we just can’t keep them all. If they don’t sell in the next couple of weeks we will be taking them to a horse sale which I really don’t like doing. We much prefer them to go to experienced homes so here’s your opportunity to pick up a bargain! Bentley- 3yo rising 4yo stock horse x QH (can’t be regd) Sire: Docs Truman QH (By the legendary Docs Spinifex)... Dam: station bred stock horse - very cowy consistent drafter & played b grade polocrosse prior to injury Broken in now turned out ready to come back into full work. Basic flatwork worked in feedlot for 6 weeks following cattle, open shut gates, confined spaces, machinery, isn’t phased by his daily job! Very athletic, soft snaffle mouth, good stop back up fast learner. Can be a bit nervy to handle on the ground but nothing nasty at all. 13.01.2022 When you get sent a gorgeous photo of a lovely family who are repeat buyers of our babies! All 3 horses were bought as unbroken yearlings, all by Docs Truman. The filly on the left is out of Dellhand Little Kate (Coady), and the gelding in the middle and the colt on the right are full brothers out of Bank Cook. L-R Sal (3yo) with Kim Bruce, Tig (3yo) with Karen Barrett and Silver (2yo) just broken in owned by Greg Bruce and ridden here by Greg & Kim’s son.... Thanks guys for for the lovely feedback and we are so over the moon that you’re happy with your babies! We can’t wait to watch Tig have his first Campdraft run at Tubbul in a couple of wknds time!

10.01.2022 This fella is one of our special boys, was going to be Evie’s future champion, and we are only offering him to the best of knowledgeable homes due to our situation. ‘Whipper’ is a 3yo colt that we just haven’t got around to gelding yet due to no fault of his own. Approx 15hh. He is broken in and has worked at the feedlot for about 6 weeks in total. He’s quiet to ride & handle but not a beginners horse due to his age & limited education.... He’s started to follow & watch cattle and wanting to work them when faced up. He’s by Docs Truman QH (sire Docs Spinifex) and out of Priceless Braddette ASH (sire Soda Bradman, by Romeo, out of double cross Elliot’s Creek Cadet mare) Whipper is currently unsound due to a swollen fetlock but if someone is keen on getting some vet input I believe he would recover and make a handy work/riding gelding. We are currently not in a position to give him the input he needs and we would much prefer if someone could give him some time & love than to send him to the sales, as that’s our next option sadly thanks to this bloody drought. 08.01.2022 GPH Peptos Freestyler, our junior stallion, competed in his first Stockmans Challenge at Bribbaree on the first weekend of September. I’m am more than impressed with his attitude towards all the aspects of the challenge. I had a lot of lovely comments about his ability and behaviour over all being a young stallion. He had his number 1 jockey onboard, our 15 month old baby girl Evie, when mumma wasn’t riding, and she had a ball riding her Pepto!

08.01.2022 A snapshot of our resident stallion GPH Peptos Freestyler. The only video in this clip of him drafting, which also happens to be the only video of him drafting I have, was his 2nd ever run at Geurie last year where he scored an 87 in the ladies! The winner had a runoff with an 89 & equal 3rd-5th were on 88! Since this run, Pepto won the Encouragement at Cowra and hasn’t scored less than a 23 camp score from the limited runs he’s had. He’s getting better with every run! We’re so in love with this fella and can’t wait to breed some babies by him from our mares.

07.01.2022 I just want to say a huge thankyou to everyone who sent their thoughts of compassion for Truman It was very heartwarming to know he had so much love & support! We received these gorgeous bouquet of flowers from a special friend who also owns a son of Docs Spinifex, Truman’s brother, who is a legend in himself being a superstar in the cutting pen, having won numerous shows and awards. Freckles Rogan, or Joshy as he’s affectionately known, and Brooke Whitty are an unstoppable combination! Thanks Brooke and Joshy! We sure do love our extended horse family

07.01.2022 Peptos Freestyler’s very first foal was born this morning, 10th November! Our neighbours up the road, Melissa & Ben Chittick’s, black stockhorse mare, Rosae, foaled a big strong bay filly! Congratulations on your beautiful filly guys!

05.01.2022 Battle On The Bidgee Stockmans Challenge 2019 11-13th October, saw our young stallion, Peptos Freestyler, place 2nd in the Open Ladies Competition at his 2nd ever Stockmans Challenge, backing up after a win at the Cowra Campdraft a fortnight earlier.

04.01.2022 Just throwing it out there... but who would be interested in a cap with Pepto’s logo? (Similar style to pic below) Just wanting to see if I had enough interest to make it worth getting an order done of some caps which is a minimum order of 25. To buy they will be $30, maybe less, depending on how many orders I can get to cover costs.

03.01.2022 When temperament is everything! Peptos the man! Our baby girl Evie taking him for a little ride... her very first ride by herself! (Don’t panic dad was right there by her side & the big fella was tied up!) She was happy to sit there for some photos without bailing. We were very proud of her. Next step is to go for a little walk!
