17.01.2022 GASP 2020 is opened yesterday in our Main Gallery! Glass Artists Support Program is a group of Victorian glass artists who work together to further each other's... glass arts practice as well as to promote the art form to the general public. * This exhibition is full of glass fusing, slumping, flame worked and mixed media pieces that are a mix of functional, sculputural and jewellery. * This seaside inspired piece is a mix of slumping and flame work by Barb Jorgensen. Originally a Lab Technician she is now a fulltime glass artist based out of Gippsland Victoria. She creates incredibly detailed pieces inspired insects, arachnids, plants, ocean life and birds as well as fae and alien lifeforms. * Sea Side | Barb Jorgensen | Fused and slumped glass, Flame worked borosilicate glass 16x15 cm * * #kyneton #gallery #visitmelbourne #visitvictoria #visitmacedonranges #daylesfordmacedonlife See more
