25.01.2022 From the simple to more complex this week.

24.01.2022 The instructions were, the snow capped mountains of Vancouver, with the national emblem of the red rose and a red barn.

23.01.2022 Lovely old door that was smashed, now returned to former glory. Notice the brass strengthening bars attached to the inside of the door frame. This is traditional strengthening using tinned copper wire soldered to the leadlight and tied to the bars. Gives really good strength, and helps prevent damage if the door slams shut.

20.01.2022 Still a couple of places left in this class on Saturday. Only 4 to a class, thanks to the current restrictions.

17.01.2022 New one fitted today. Just textured clears are very effective.

17.01.2022 Good.to have this one completed

17.01.2022 New date set for a copper foil class in Rockhampton. Only 6 places available.

16.01.2022 Congratulations to Coco Brew. This leadlight matched the old leadlight in the existing door in the William street entrance.

15.01.2022 Glass and copper foil class date for Moranbah.

15.01.2022 This piece of timber was in the trailor ready for a dump trip, but I thought I'd rescue it and add to it's glory. Not just an old mango branch now

15.01.2022 The new window for Ocean Brew in Emu Park. Looking forward the the new premises opening in early December. This replace two old casement windows.

13.01.2022 Managed to get this set fitted up today. Has a bit of a wow factor. One more set to do the same for the house, by the end of September. It's hard on the fingers using small pieces of glass and 5mm lead.

12.01.2022 This is going to look pretty good in the old rustic railway sleeper standing vertically. finished photo to come.

12.01.2022 Amongst the repairs from hail damage, I get to make some nice things like this one on the Sunshine Coast.

10.01.2022 Now that does look better than the old plain glass that was in it.

08.01.2022 Sore fingers after getting these to this stage. Good thing it's the weekend.

08.01.2022 Leadlight class in Clermont 7th March 2020

08.01.2022 A few busy days and then a few days off. Just want to thank everyone for their support of small businesses this year. Wishing every one a safe happy Christmas. Take time to reflect on the reason for the season. Enjoy families, if you don't have family, find someone to spoil. God Bless. I will be available over the break for emergency glass replacements.

08.01.2022 This old leadlight was in pieces when it came to me. It has come back to life.

07.01.2022 Like most small businesses, we are still trying to keep afloat. We are still doing window and door repairs and making and repairing beautiful leadlights, We certainly understand that everyone is really struggling with the restrictions in place, and that luxury items like leadlights and stained glass are not a priority. Classes are reduced to two people at a time on weekdays if anyone is interested. You can pretty much set your own dates at the moment. Class this Saturday has been cancelled. Be strict on yourself with the distancing. we're all in this thing together. I wish you all good health. Do stuff around the home, read a book. Don't get caught up in the rabbit burrow of negativity rife on FB and twitter. Rediscover your kids. Skype your family. Do your hobby. Stay safe.

06.01.2022 I'm looking for more slabs like this, so I can put more leadlight out there. I have one planned for the Heritage Village in Rockhampton..will post a photo when it's done.

06.01.2022 Any glass breakage from yesterday's hail storm? Happy to give quotes.Any glass breakage from yesterday's hail storm? Happy to give quotes.

04.01.2022 Some of the works carried out in the laser month. Been a bit busy to post them until now.

02.01.2022 Great job everyone at the Lead Light Workshop - thank you Mark for travelling and here some examples from our talented bunch

01.01.2022 Finally I have a class date set for Rockhampton in a couple of weeks. Numbers are limited. Only 6 per class. If there is enough interest, I may run an extra class on Friday 21st Feb.

01.01.2022 First leadlight class for the year. Numbers are very limited to 4 per class due to Covid19 restrictions. If there is more demand I will run classes on the 3rd Saturday of each month, . Still need to book in early. I will alternate "Copper Foil" classes and "Leadlight Making" classes each month. this one is "Leadlight Making" which does include a foiling demonstration only.
