22.01.2022 How good is this a good Friend of Den and my self Scott Benson and his Lovely Wife Karen Gave this Jacaranda Tree to the Glenapp Dream I planted it Friday got some good soil and gave it a drink of medicine no not that kind the Horticultural Type on my way back from Sydney they gave it to me we caught up with them at the Toronto Workers club for a Great Meal and what a Great and Friendly Club because I had a delivery in Newcastle on Saturday morning on my way into Sydney they said where are you staying I said just down the road anyway they said no your not so we me and my grandson Alex were spoilt it was Awesome to catch up and their home had a Log Fire Thank you Scott and Karen once again Rob The Glenapp Boy and Alex xoxo

21.01.2022 This is Dulbolla today Saturday new fence on the right Lookin good no wire in it yet so I mowed on both sides until the wire goes in then it will be road side only i just love how this place transformed from jungle to now cheers TGB

19.01.2022 The uniform gauge line between South Brisbane and the NSW border was constructed by the Queensland Government. During construction, it was 3'6" gauge and was connected to the Queensland Railways at Rocklea and to the 3'6" Beaudesert Tramway near Dulbolla. A number of excursions were run to the Border between July and October 1929 to show Queenslanders the new line. The first on 21st July 1929 from South Brisbane hauled by C16 locomotive number 13 is shown below in a photo by the late K. Rogers. It was published in the ARHS book Destination South Brisbane that also provided most of the text in this post. Another of the excursions ran from Beaudesert on 18th August 1929. The line was then converted to standard (uniform) gauge and opened on 27th September 1930. Note the length of the standard gauge sleepers in the photo.

19.01.2022 This big ole Lemon Tree gets a hard time with the cows but I water it and look after it I did not plant this it is a Bush Lemon but watering it every week and a little Fertilser now and then she also is Bran Newwhen Pruning it take plenty of bandaids and water The AWSOME FIG TREE THAT YOU SEE IS HOW WE WANT ALL THE TREES TO GROW cheers TGB

Pots at the Hut given to us by our other Brother yes from the same mother Allan who lives in Sydney well I had enough Brains to re plant them and now Look at them he also gave us this Jacaranda which you can see Den diging a hole for it now she’s Honkin Big Time cheers TGB

06.01.2022 Well it’s my Granson Lucas 18.th Birthday today that’s him on the Left has to be home ato get ready for a shin Dig tonight took me an hour to get myself into pants gota get back on my Diet and get some sun screen on for the Glenapp Sun any before I left today watered all the trees again heaps of new buds Appearing plus towed a fallen Large tree Branch out of the top yard tried to lift it over the fence where I dump rubbish but too bloody heavy but next week me and Billy the Chain Saw will fix that problem I’ll probably keep for my Fire and the Farmer put a new Fence at camp creek Rd Enterance to the Yard and it’s looks BRAN NEW cheers here’s to a good night and cause Happy Birthday again Luca Love ya Mate Pop xx The Glenapp boy

01.01.2022 Sunday watering these beautiful trees you can see how there bouncing this liquid amber tree Planted in honour of Pacific National Train Driver GARRY TURNBULL two weeks back it started Leafing up and today his Bran NEW LOOKING GOOD HE LOVES ME HAVING A CHAT WITH HIM IVE GOT A FEW TREES IN THE YARD I DO THE SAME LYN LeMERCIER MY SISTER IN LAW BRUCE BARTER MY BROTHER IN LAW AND A TRUCKING BUDDY OF MINE RAY BATTERSON KNOWN AS BATO YEP TALK TO EM ALL along with our mum and dad and our nana along with Allan Booth who was a Feteler and was killed by a FREIGHT TRAIN AT GLENAPP iL shit MY SELF IF THEY ANSWER ME but I love it the JACKANDRAS ARE SHOWING SOME FLOWERES NOT MANY YET BUT WE HAVE TEN IN THE YARD SO WHEN THEY START IT SHOULD LOOK BRAN NEW CHEERS TGB
