We've created guidelines for both Clubs & Areas and Technical Officials to help with planning and running COVID-safe events this summer. 16.01.2022 A quick reminder that entries for our first club night back on 12th October open at 9am tomorrow morning! Entries will close on Saturday 10th October. Remember, swimmers will need to renew their memberships in Swim Central to enter. Can’t wait to see you there!

16.01.2022 REGISTRATION FOR 20/21 SEASON NOW OPEN! Registrations can be completed through the Swim Central Website: https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au/. Current registrations expire on 30th September, and new registrations due by 1st October. Existing members should have a renewal notification waiting in their swim central dashboard when they first log in. Active Kids vouchers can be used. Our summer season club night program has been confirmed and will commence on Monday 12th October... 2020 at 7pm. The first 3 club nights are now up on Swim Central, and entries for the first week will open on Friday 2nd October and close on Saturday 10th October (Saturday will be the closing date for entries for all subsequent club nights). As we are affiliated with Swimming NSW, swimmers’ times at our club nights will register in the Australian Swimming database, which can then be used as entry times for club, school and representative meets. Remember, swimmers must have renewed their registrations to enter club night events. More information on our summer season program and our covid protocols will be shared closer to the first club night. Registration renewal should only take a couple of minutes, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our new club Registrar, Josey Sharpe at [email protected]. 16.01.2022 INCOMING MATCH REPORT FROM COUNTRY REGIONALS: All Glenbrook swimmers swam their heart outs this weekend and represented Glenbrook Swim Club wonderfully. Here’s a long list of highlights! Maya - a huge haul of medals including 2 gold, 2 silver and a bronze. ... Harry - 4 PBs, and an impressive haul of medals. Jimmy - 4 PBs from 5 races, including one of 13 seconds and one 9 seconds! Lacey - an impressive 4 PBs out of 6 races. Rori - 4 PBs from 5 races including one of 16 seconds and one 13 seconds! Evie - 8 PBs from 9 races and a swag of medals. Darcy - 3 PBs including one of 10 seconds in her 200IM when her goggles and cap came off. What a champion! Finn - a full house of 5 PBs from 5 races and a stack of medals. Hunter - 4 PBs and a huge haul of medals including 3 golds. Daniel - 5 PBs, and the biggest cheer of the weekend for his NSW Country qualifying time for the 100m fly! Emily - 5 PBs from 5 races, one of 11 seconds and one 10 seconds! Jade - 2 PBs and a nice haul of 2 golds medals. Luke - am impressive 7 PBs from 7 races and a handful of medals. Nick - 1 PB, 2 golds and a silver. Well done Team Glenbrook!

16.01.2022 Winter Club Nights at Springwood start Thursday April 29th at 7pm! Enter on Swim Central - see below for info regarding swims. Your Glenbrook SC membership covers you for winter club nights too but entry fees to Springwood Aquatic Centre apply! Entries for club night need to be placed by 11pm the Wednesday before club night.... LATE ENTRIES: POOL SIDE ENTRIES WILL NOT HAVE TIMES RECORDED Number of Swims allowed: 1 x Distance Swim (100IM, 200IM, 400IM, 200m, 400m, 800m or 1500m) 1 x Freestyle swim (25m, 50m or 100m) 2 x Form Stroke swims (25m, 50m or 100m) Total = 4 swims (if no distance swims available then 1 x free and 2 form only) Form Stroke = Backstroke, Breaststroke or Butterfly. If you enter more swims any extra swims will be deleted without notification.

14.01.2022 Hunter brings it home at Age Nationals for Glenbrook with an epic swim, knocking 13 seconds off his PB in the 800m free. We won’t know the placings until tonight, but we’re hoping for top 15 which would be an incredible achievement. That makes it 7 PBs from 7 races the Glenbrook team - a huge thanks to Corin, Adam and all the coaches for their ongoing support.
