24.01.2022 May Lyn describes how she went through the process of working out who to communicate her sexuality to

23.01.2022 The lovely Hao Nguyen of Balance The Grind interviewed me for this piece on Work Life Balance. I was quite daunted by the questions asked of me as I quickly realised that I don't have balance in the sense that the questions were asked of me. 23.01.2022 I am in the privileged position of being able to talk to average Australians all the time. Elections have always fascinated me and the 2019 Federal Election is a perfect storm for someone like me. Australia has had 12 leaders within as many years. People are 'leader-change' weary. The voting public have placed their faith in leaders within both major political parties only to have their preferred man or woman removed midway during their term. Political grandstanding and infig...hting has lead to strong public distrust of those that should remember they are there to serve the people. You can read more about what I have say here: https://www.glendawynyard.com//Australians-see-through-ele #FederalElection #GlendaWynyard #2019AustraliaVotes #MediaStrategy

18.01.2022 Well ... I said it was going to happen and now it is a reality. The Pending Approval podcast is now live on Spotify and iTunes. Be gentle with me ... it is the first one I have ever done myself but all feedback is appreciated. Producer G has been spectacular. Link to the Spotify version is here if you want to listen: https://open.spotify.com/show/5fCQQ85e3SgHP4uKfogMpp #Podcast #PendingApproval The Media Precinct

17.01.2022 Working in an office filled with Millennials and Zentennials you get to see first hand the shifts in attitudes and behaviours these young people are driving. I mean, last week one of my team members responded with trill and I had to get on Urban Dictionary... The team recently put together an important piece of work on the emerging young Australian market and presented to 40 of The Media Precincts clients. Everyone working on this project was all 25 and under, really givi...ng the work a sense of authenticity and deeper understanding of youth for our clients. Read more about these insights and how brands can connect with a diverse and changing audience. After that, look up 'trill'. https://fal.cn/349R0 #research #trill

12.01.2022 Happy 2019 to my small band of followers. My first blog for year is live on www.glendawynyard.com and my first opinion piece for the year is live on www.mediaprecinct.com.au I hope you have enjoyed the festive season and are ready for the year ahead.

11.01.2022 It took me a while to get used to these two lads on triple j breakfast. But I grew to welcome their intelligent sense of humour they have shared with me each morning. What's a girl to do? https://www.glendawynyard.com//23/My-fav-jocks-are-leaving... #Radio #glendawynyard #blog

10.01.2022 This week on The Media Precinct Pending Approval podcast I discuss with Producer G the reactions to content and advertising in a COVID-19 world. You can take a listen here. #advertising #podcast #media #marketing #content

10.01.2022 Those of you who know me will know that I love research and insights. So when Sam, our resident photography buff, suggested a 'family' picture I looked into the art a little. Would it surprise you to know that portrait photography is nearly 180 years old? You can learn more at my site: www.glendawynyard.com.

09.01.2022 Glenda Wynyard's team discuss Australian youth and their approach to brands who don't have a believable approach to CSR

09.01.2022 Despite record breaking television ratings, newspaper and digital readership and listening audiences, thanks to the impact COVID-19 has had there has been another round of mass changes made to the Australian media industry landscape. You can find a break down of the week that was on the The Media Precinct blog: www.mediaprecinct.com.au//20/04/09/The-media-week-that-was #COVID19 #advertising #mediaagency #AustralianMedia

08.01.2022 From the global pandemic to the US election, Australians spent 36.31 million hours consuming news content for the month of December 2020 alone! As viewerships for this content continues to increase, journalism has begun transferring from other mediums into the digital world. Discover how brands are utilising this within their campaigns to improve performance here: https://fal.cn/3cTCb

08.01.2022 With 66.4% of the Australian population drinking alcohol, it is clear that our culture is consumed by consumables. With this in mind, I had the terrific opportunity to speak as a guest panellist at the ADA Conference, a membership full of independent distillers who are fantastic craftsmen and women. ADA even honoured me with a rap to introduce me. Check it out here: https://fal.cn/3bVsG

08.01.2022 I am extremely proudc to the work to help headspace bring alive their young person's LBGTIQA+ campaign leading up to MardiGras. These young people show such courage in helping to communicate what they went or go through. This is Dani's story.

05.01.2022 I sometimes follow a guy called Mike Teasdale out of the UK. I just came across this piece he wrote in February. Take a read. https://fal.cn/37GBa Mike's a bit of an old warhorse but he makes a really good point about what it is that we do for a living. Advertising is about generating a response that meets a business objective and I like what he has to say. #marketing #advertising #marketingstrategy

05.01.2022 With the viewership of Catch Up TV becoming more and more popular, our team at The Media Precinct have released their perspective. I particularly like that it is a long run Australian format program that continues its popularity from broadcast into newer video viewing formats. You can read what they have to say here:

04.01.2022 It is way more difficult putting a podcast together than agreeing to do a podcast. Episode 2 was a lesson for Producer G and I on what we won't do next time. If you care to listen, in this week's episode we are reviewing the thenetworkone Indie Awards. The winners were all well deserved and I particularly loved the winner of Best In Show which came from the Corporate PR sector. Here's the Spotify link: https://open.spotify.com/episode/09Zg4EpB4N4Gon1xeNJ3Lx... #podcast #mediaagency #advertising

03.01.2022 Oh my gosh ... I am getting my own podcast. Exciting and terrifying at the same time. I will let you know when Pending Approval is up and running!

02.01.2022 Creative strategist, Waqas Tahir, leads strategy in the in-culture agency LOUD. He is the guy that gets to tell the creatives what to make, what insight to use and why. If you can forgive the sound quality it is a great interview as Waqas willingly shares his insights into what it is that he does on the latest The Media Precinct Pending Approval podcast. ... We also got to chat about LOUD's recent controversial Gruen win and it wouldn't be a final podcast of the year without discussing the odd Christmas ad. Particularly when a terrific Christmas campaign has been marred by racist backlash. #podcast #advertising #mediaagency #PendingApproval
