24.01.2022 I took our collection of boxes of empties into the Containers For Change depot and we now have $94.20 credited into the Gleneagles bank account. A good result, I think.

23.01.2022 It was very hot on Saturday but still had a few members turn up, the earlier starts are becoming popular. Not such a hot day on Saturday coming up - Merry Christmas to all if we don't see you then. And a Happy New Year.

This is also the Branch J, ABA State Titles weekend so come join t...he fun and support your branch by nominating and shooting the state title event. The awards will be presented after dinner on Saturday night. Bring your camping gear and join us for a social evening likely to be filled with Ruth reminding me tgat she has shot a TC goat!! 08.01.2022 With reference to the Peel Open, a quote from their committee: "At this time we are still trying to understand the impact to the planned Peel Open, but its looking like we will have to postpone or cancel. If cancelled, all funds will be refunded". We will keep you updated.

08.01.2022 Longbow Traditional at Teedermully 24-25 October 2020

07.01.2022 We're holding our third annual Longbow/Recurve Muster in memory of Jack Rice on the 3rd October 2020. Please read the attached flyer for details. We will maintain all current COVID-19 requirements during the shoot. We have hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes available. Stay home if unwell and if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms get tested for COVID-19. It's a one day event consisting of the standard 3 arrow and 1 arrow 20 target rounds over our 2 courses. The practice... range will be open from 0900. Sign in will be from 0930. First round will start at 1100. It's going to be a traditional day, so dust off your Longbows and Recurves and come out for a bit of fun and friendly competition. 2 traditional divisions for Longbow and Recurve archers using wood arrows and a minimum of 12" of fletching. 2 modern divisions for Longbow and Recurve archers using modern arrows. Combined Juniors division (Longbow and Recurve). Combined Cubs division (Longbow and Recurve). ABA criteria will also apply for the classification of Traditional and Modern bows. This is an open/invitational event, and open to all Archery Alliance members who wish to attend, ABA, 3DAAA and TAA. See more

This weekends busy bee and our regular Saturday shoots are cancelled at this stage too. ... There are insurance implications to those Clubs who choose to still host club shoots and activities. We will let everyone know when the club will be back to normal operations. The Invitational on Saturday will be a mixture of 3D's and Impact Point novelty vinyl targets.... Sunday's ABA Shoot will be the standard times as shown on the calendar. 04.01.2022 At this stage (barring any changes in COVID-19 status) - The 3D state titles at WPA 18-19 Jul are not going ahead. - The August Interclub at WAFBC is going ahead. A flyer will be made up after the club meeting this Saturday and distributed. - the September Interclub at Geographe is undecided. and - the ABA state titles at Peel, 17-18 Oct will be going ahead. Nomination forms will be out shortly.

03.01.2022 Reopening Saturday 6th of June. With Stage 3 of restrictions coming in on Saturday the 6th of June, Gleneagle Field Archers is happy to announce that we will be open as normal once again. For any prospective members or visitors who wish to attend, the practice range opens at 11am for instruction and verification of competency.... Attendees are reminded that 2m square social distancing will remain in place. Hand sanitizer will be available at the clubhouse, and everyone attending is required to sign in on arrival. If you are unwell, have a fever or other flu like symptoms, please stay home and keep everyone else safe.
