We are looking for experienced fisherpersons who are looking for a little extra income. You may already work full time or part time, be semi-retired or retired and have a few days that you want to fill in. ... Predominantly weekend work, however there is the occasional day through the week as well. Not just out of Glenelg but there are opportunities at Marion Bay too! Times have been tough for a little while but we would like to let you know we are taking bookings for charters and would really love to get you out of the house and on the water. We are having to consider numbers for now to comply with the Governments ruling. If your group is from the same household, we can be a bit more generous with numbers on board.... We have all the equipment to keep you as safe as possible with sanitiser, wipes, soap and personal hand towels. Thank you to those who have phoned with your support . 18.01.2022 We provided more Reel Action on Saturday with tuna and nanny coming over the side. Decent size tuna and it didnt take long to reach our boat limit. 15.01.2022 Hi friends, we need your support. We are facing a 3.5 year ban on catching snapper in our gulfs. This will severely damage our business and that of our fellow charter operators in SA, not to mention our crew members and all the small businesses that provide services to support the fishing trade. As licensed charter operators, we all inject significant outlay with our boats, equipment, licence fees, insurance etc and to be hit with a ban of this magnitude will greatly affe...ct us all and possibly push some of us out of business. Its just not fair as our snapper take has already been limited with closure periods and locations, while fees continue to rise and in reality what the charter sector take in catch is insignificant compared to other sectors. The research undertaken to implement this proposed ban is flawed which you can briefly read about in the link below. Please sign and share your support
