15.01.2022 Awards Night 2019-2020 was a resounding success. Thanks to all that helped on the night, and thank you to Morphett MP and Minister for Trade and Industry Stephen Patterson who attended and presented trophies to players. Special thanks to all the bowlers that walked away with recognition, and to those who contributed to such a successful season! Our next season will commence officially with the Opening of the Greens on August 28 at the club starting at 6pm.

12.01.2022 IMPORTANT CLUB UPDATE Good Evening all Following the SA Premiers announcements last week a further relaxing of the restrictions arising from the Coronavirus pandemic begin from Monday June 1.... For our members this means: Social Bowls can resume on Tuesdays and Saturdays - from 12.30pm Our bar can seat 20 people and serve alcohol There is no longer a need to reserve a playing rink The hygiene requirements outlined in previous email and that are displayed at the club will not change, with the exception being a one rink buffer is no longer needed unless the 1.5 metre rule for social distancing cannot be met. It is still of the very utmost importance that unwell people or those showing any flu-like symptoms stay away. We are among the highest levels of risk groups and Coronavirus is something that we will have to live with for many years to come - therefore it is incumbent on all members not to be complacent and keep hygiene and social distance at the forefront at all times. Remember the 20 person limit indoors seated and the 1.5m rule will be strictly enforced - it is a condition of keeping our licence. Please abide by any direction from our RSAs. If we get more than 20 for social bowls some will need to go out onto the verandah so please do not be offended if you are asked to move. We are moving forward at a rate dictated by both Governments - with assistance from Bowls SA - and any further changes will be advised via email and Facebook. Thanks for your help in keeping GFC Coronavirus free.

11.01.2022 Its been a great Night Owls year in 2019! Our greens have been full every night and weve started using our "B green" under temporary lighting. Our sponsors have joined in (thank you MetroAir!) and members have helped out all year - especially Peter Walter, Trish Clayton, Peter Raven and Peter Crowder. As it stands the Bowling Stones head the ladder, just ahead of the Trevor Chappells. Next come the Bowlemover, BeachFronters, Holls Bowls and the Black Beetles. One team, the ...Inglorious Bowlers, have even picked up an eight! Competition starts in earnest next year on Wednesday January 15. See you there!
