23.01.2022 Hello banding community! Just checking in to see that you’re all staying safe and well in these uncertain times. Because we’re not meeting face to face at present, it’s especially important to keep in contact in some form with our members, supporters, friends and families.... Feel free to share a kind message below with our wider banding audience, and let us know how you are going! Take care, stay safe!

23.01.2022 Thank you to the Morphett Vale RSL, Reverend Jackson and the Glenelg Brass Band for hosting a very special ANZAC Sunday Commemorative Service yesterday. There is a lineup of ANZAC services being held this coming weekend. I’ll share all the event details later in the week. Lest we forget.

19.01.2022 We regret to inform you that unfortunately due to the forecasted extreme high temperatures this Thurs 19th Dec we have had to cancel our carols down in Moseley Square. Thank you for you interest, stay cool and hydrated this week, and hope to see you at a concert in the new year!

17.01.2022 Thank you to all at the Morphett Vale RSL, Father Jackson and the Glenelg Brass Band who brought our community together today for a very special ANZAC Sunday Co...mmemorative Service. It is a tradition that, in the lead up to ANZAC Day, rightly focuses us on remembering, reflecting and paying our respects. Lest we forget.

16.01.2022 Glenelg Brass Band had the privilege of playing at our 93rd ANZAC Day Sunday Service for the Morphett Vale RSL Sub Branch this afternoon. A smaller affair this year due to pandemic restrictions, however it is wonderful to see such tradition live on (there has been a total of 95 such services in some form by the RSL Sub Branch).

14.01.2022 And we’re back! It was lovely to see many GBB band members eagerly returning to our first rehearsal back since the break for the pandemic, appropriately socially-distanced of course!

13.01.2022 Glenelg Brass Band are playing at the Morphett Vale Rotary Australia Day breakfast celebrations this pleasantly cool morning!

10.01.2022 In light of the increasing COVID-19 situation in Australia and worldwide, and in the interest of the welfare of our supporters and banding community, the Glenelg Brass Band committee have decided to suspend all rehearsals until further notice. The upcoming May concert at St Andrews has also been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, however everyone’s health and wellbeing is of utmost importance. ... Look out for one another, and the good news is you can still practice your instruments in your own homes! Glenelg Brass Band Committee

08.01.2022 Good morning fellow GBB supporters, regretfully we will not be performing any carol services down at Glenelg this year. This has been decided in light of recent pandemic changes. We wish you and yours a very healthy and happy festive season, and hope to entertain you in the year ahead!
