24.01.2022 Feeding time at Glenella ,things looking a little bare . Thankfully water is not an issue.
24.01.2022 It is distressing when you eventually come to terms with the long term ramifications that some individuals' actions can have on another. As if the drought and bushfires were not bad enough, between October 2019 and January 2020 we were targeted by sheep thieves. Over that time they took about 500 head of our merino flock, mainly our breeding ewes - who were in lamb. The impact this will have over the coming years are vast, both financially and emotionally. I hope karma comes into play for the lowlife perpetrators of this cruel act! In the meantime, Glenella White Suffolks still have some gorgeous rams available, ready and willing to serve your ewes. Give us a call. We're ready to help.
23.01.2022 Ian from Baringa Studs has been up checking out our current ewes for AI...pleased to say he was pretty impressed with them. Good breeding works.
20.01.2022 Our sister enterprise Ram'sHead Bats is supporting the Melanoma March for Five Cent Friday. We'd love it if you would support them too.

14.01.2022 Snuggled up together in front of the fire ...well off to the side actually. Ichi and Ni are doing well.
13.01.2022 After a gorgeous sunrise I was lucky enough to watch the bower birds dance while it snows.
13.01.2022 Not all our rams are the wooly kind... See what's just come out of the BatCave at Ram'sHead Bats.
13.01.2022 Meet Ichi(bigger boy) and Ni(smaller girl), the first batch of our 2018 kids. Ni was in a bad way after their mum wandered off yesterday evening in search of a feed and left them in a shady spot...then forgot to come back and feed them. With temps well in the minus range last night they really needed some warming up this morning. So a spot by the fire and a belly of warm milk from our milker Strawberry was called for. As you can see both kids are doing pretty well now. #farmlife #raisingkids
11.01.2022 Beautiful day at Glenella, throwing grass seed on the repaired dam walls.
10.01.2022 With the horrible dry and the devastating fires we haven't had much to post about lately...so here's a lovely lamb from our sister enterprise Ram's Head Bats.
