24.01.2022 Would any of my DJ/Muso/Business friends be interested in having a professional live stream and final edit to help their business during lock down? I'm contempl...ating buying a 4 channel live stream/switcher and just seeing if there is any interest before out laying money for more equipment during this time. What you would get: - 3 High end video cameras recording a high quality product (ie no go pros or web cams) - 4th camera can be computer monitor or 4th camera (go pro) - High quality audio, up to 6 channels recording in 32 bit float - Live stream to Mix Cloud (no you tube or facebook algorithms muting your music), or facebook or you tube if music licensing won't cause issue. - Professional lighting and set design - Final edited version that you can use at any time or cut up into small parts. Obviously there will be a charge for this, but am happy to offer tailored packages at below my usual rates. PM me, phone or email for more details/questions etc. -------------- Feedback from client from latest multi cam project (pic used) "Absolutely awesome mate! You've done an amazing job, thank you! You nailed it!" ---------------- Feel free to share this to your mates. Thanks!

23.01.2022 Happy to announce I’m leaving the world of film making to become a full time wine maker #glenjfilmswines #clearlyjoking #winemaking #darenbergcube #shirazblend

21.01.2022 #AMonthofContent Every day this month I'm showcasing a piece of work from this past year. TAFE SA is one of my biggest clients, I must have made about 25 videos for them this year alone. This one was a lot of fun, made to promote TAFE SA courses to international students.

21.01.2022 Those who know the region know this famous road in the Barossa. This is a screen grab taken from drone footage I shot for the Langton’s Classification VII video last year. It was hot and dry when we were filming during an earlier than normal vintage. This year, after a series of heatwaves in December and January, February has played a little nicer so far and the race to pick seems like it will be a little less frantic this time around. Of course, only time will tell... #glenjfilms #filming #filmmaker #freelance #drone #mavicpro #barossa #barossavalley #seppeltsfieldroad #wine #wineregion #southaustralia #australia #palmtree #palmtrees #vines #vineyard

19.01.2022 #AMonthofContent Every day this month I'm showcasing a piece of work from this past year. This year I did a lot of work with Hip Media to showcase cocktail bartenders in the T25, top bartenders in the country awards. This is Ben, who owns a few venues on the Gold Coast. Filmed in Brisbane a few months ago.

15.01.2022 Absolutely love this place to stay on Gilli Air in Indonesia, the greatest of the Gilli's! Can't wait to get back there again soon! Had so much fun making this video for them, made even more special as I got to make it with a bunch of awesome people and friends.

12.01.2022 The Gilli Islands in Indonesia are home to some of the worlds best diving and snorkling. Lucky's, on Gilli Air, make it incredibly fun and easy to get underwater in the best spots around the Islands. Who want's to jump in that water???

10.01.2022 Sometimes I feel like I get so snowed under with workloads and finishing new projects for clients, I completely forget to look back on the work I have completed and the work I should be proud of. In searching for an example film for a new tender, I came accross a showreel I cut a year ago, and completely forgot I had. I have created an incredible amount of new work this year, in fact if I shared a new video each day, I would have enough content to last for months. I'm always striving to do better, to refelct on my mistakes and to improve, however I still think this old work stands up. I'm going to make more of an effort to get this work off my hard drive, and out there for everyone to see.

06.01.2022 I posted this to my personal facebook page last night, but I'm re-posting it here for those who follow this page only. I made this film in what now seems like an eternity ago. It's been pretty easy to want to move on and put it behind us, for a few reasons I guess. One, is the sheer amount of time we put into making this. 3 years of our lives, mostly on nights and weekends while I was trying to build a business at the same time. ... Two, well, I've gotten better. It can be strange to look back on old creative work without a critical eye and be too judgmental of your work. I'm sure everyone who creates anything can relate to this. Three, times have changed. Already. Do we care so much about lockout laws now? Which was a major instigator in creating this film. So we put this on You Tube last week, which is where it will stay from now on. Everyone can watch it for free, whenever they want. A strange thing has happened in this past week. I've found a new appreciation for something that I had cast aside into history. New people have been watching it, and loving it, and telling us how important this film is to them. That's pretty awesome. I'm stuck working from home at the moment with a mountain of editing to get through. Editing is hands down the least favourite part of what I do and I'm definitely happiest when I'm out and about with a camera in my hand. It kinda reminds me of when I locked myself away to edit this film. So I put this film on today, in the background, while I edited. I haven't watched it in a few years, and what struck me the most was the music. I simply love the music in this film! I simply love every artist who donated their music to make this film what it is. This is why this film will live on You Tube for free from now on and I hope as many people as possible get to hear this very cool music. So, as a final thank you, if you like this film please share it with your friends, please give the film a like on You Tube and please subscribe to the You Tube channel. I plan on releasing a lot more content over the coming... some period, although it probably won't be three years in the making. And look up these artists. Whether it's downloading a song from bandcamp, beatport or itunes, following them on soundcloud or checking them out next time they dj (yes, that may be many months away but it will happen) they are still producing and playing great music!

06.01.2022 Whilst staying back late to edit an announcement video for an upcoming show, I came across this that I did a few months back. Amile Lens and Sam Paganini on the same lineup, good times!

05.01.2022 I've shot a lot of time lapse over the years. A LOT. I love how it shows a passage of time and lets us view the world from a very different perspective and certainly adds a punch to any video.

04.01.2022 #AMonthofContent Every day this month I'm showcasing a piece of work from this past year. Going all the way back to Fringe opening night, I was hired to showcase the sights and sounds of the Fringe Night Markets. ... I wasn't the only one, as I bumped into a massive number of other photog and videog friends who were also doing the same thing, albeit for different clients. Can we believe it's almost Fringe time already again!
