08.01.2022 Our Yr11 Exploring Early Childhood class has been working on the topic Play and the Developing Child. They’ve been learning about different ways children use play to learn new things about themselves and the world around them. Today, they created games/toys appropriate for children below 8yrs. One group used the game Hop-Scotch but put their own twist on it. It is now being used by other students as they walk to their class between periods. Play isn’t just for young children

05.01.2022 Over the past two weeks, our year 7 & 8 students have attended Aquatic Swim School Program to improve their skills and learn how to effectively perform rescues to assist in saving lives. We were very fortunate to have one of our Year 12 2020 Graduates, Joshua Auld attend and assist in running the program. Joshua volunteered his time, knowledge and skills and the students thoroughly enjoyed having him there to guide them through the exercises. He is an exceptional representative of our school and today we presented him with a gift on behalf of the staff that worked alongside him over the two weeks. We are very proud of the man he has become and are looking forward to having him return in 2021 as a practicing learning and support teacher.
