25.01.2022 We apologize for the inconvenience of having to wear a mask in the shop, we are just trying to look out for the health and safety of our customers and staff. I am certainly appreciative of the fact that we have been very lucky in where we live and haven't had the problems of Southern Queensland or the other southern states with hard lockdowns, so a little bit of inconvenience now (only 3 days), is better than to have to go through what Victoria has been through. The boys are busy filleting the following:-... Barramundi, King Salmon, Blue Salmon, Red Jew, RTE, Venus Tusk Fish (Parrot), Cod, Gold Band Snapper, Sea Perch, School Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel Whole Fish available are:- School Mackerel, Hussar/Stripey Perch, Trevelly, Blue Salmon We have also been lucky enough to have some green mud crabs arrive in store again this morning. 24.01.2022 Getting close to the weekend and the closure of the Barra season for the year now! We have been fortunate enough to have some fresh fish come in! We have available in store right now: - Blue Salmon - Barramundi... - Flake Blue Salmon is also available in store as Fresh Whole Fish currently as well.

22.01.2022 Well wasn't the rain lovely, could have done with a bit more but at least we didn't have the excess that they had in NSW. The Premier has announced that masks must be worn inside while indoors where social distancing is not possible (excluding your home) So with that in mind we at Glenmore Seafoods will be asking for customers over the next few days (from Tuesday) to please wear a mask while visiting our store, hand sanitizer is available at the front door prior to entering. ...We will be practicing social distancing where possible. We have had a lovely load of fresh fish arrive in store this morning, the boys are busy filleting. We will also have more fresh whole fish and fish fillets arriving on Wednesday Morning, all just in time for Easter. 13.01.2022 I WOULD LIKE ALL CONSUMERS TO COPY THIS POST AND SEND IT TO Furner qld fishing minister email [email protected]. time for consumers to stand ...up Dear Manager of Queensland Fisheries I wish to make a submission regarding the current reform process It is my understanding that the reform process will remove my rights and many other people's rights who visit or live in QLD to be able to access wild caught seafood. QLD has abundant marine resources that are sustainably managed. Removing the commercial fishing industry and removing my rights as a consumer of healthy food from the local seafood producers is just ridiculous when in Australia now we already import 80% of the seafood. I visit the the QLD coast region and I like to buy seafood from the independent outlets and at restaurants on the water front. I am deeply concerned at the media advertising calling for the commercial fishers to be reformed and to quotarise them out of business As a regular consumer of Queensland’s fresh local fish and other seafood, I want to eat the local fish and it is the commercial inshore net fishers access to these fishing grounds that protects my rights to eat fish such as sand whiting, mullet, mackerel and barramundi that is currently available to me from these waters. I do not want to be forced into buying inferior imported fish and denied my local fish just because I am not an angler. I respectfully ask that you halt this reform process and listen to the people who actually eat seafood ensuring commercial fishers’ access to catch fresh inshore fish so that the community can also share the public resource. 13.01.2022 Hope you all find the rain as refreshing as I do. Grass was getting a bit dry, so this should freshen it up. The fishermen have been having a busy time again. So far we have had 4 fisherman bring in fresh fish today and we are still expecting another fisherman. So we have a large variety of fish arriving. Just some of the variety are:-... Spanish Mackerel, Hussar/Stripey Perch, Cod, Black King, RTE, Sweetlip, Red Emperor, Coral Trout, Venus Tusk Fish, Blue Salmon, Later on Red Jew, Grunter, Some only have small amounts, others a reasonable quantity. We have had a small amount of Whole School Mackerel arrive in store as well as some Grunter which the boys are busy filleting at the moment. The word is that we should have some reef fish arriving Thursday and Estuary Fish Friday. So it is looking like a good week for fresh fish this week.

The weather has been great for the fisherman as well, and we have been lucky enough to have a couple of fisherman bring in lovely fresh fish today. 08.01.2022 We have had a small amount of barramundi come in, this has now been processed, so we have Barramundi Fillets and Fish Wings (going out fast) available. Our fresh oysters arrived this morning so we have fresh 1/2 shell pacific oysters, small and large bottle of oysters. Our bugs today are Medium Cooked while our Prawns are Medium Endeavour, Large Tiger, Large Banana, Large King Prawns and a small amount of medium Banana Prawns.... We do have fishermen out at the moment, we are hoping to see them tomorrow, I'll let you know when and what arrives in store. Stay Safe.

07.01.2022 We have been blessed by the weather gods that has allowed our hard working professional fishers to catch some lovely fresh fish for our all important customers. Barramundi, Flat Salmon, Blue Salmon, Trevelly, Grunter, Flathead - experimentally done slightly differently School Mackerel, Flake, Diamond Scale Mullet, This afternoon we have some Spanish Mackerel coming in. Whole Fish:- Blue Salmon, School Mackerel, Spotty Mackerel, Barra Fish Wings. We have lovely fresh 1/2 shell oysters in from the Northern area of NSW as well as Small and Large Bottles of Oysters. We have had some Mud Crabs arrive in store, so we have both Green and Cooked Mud Crabs available. We still have a small amount of fresh King Salmon and Flake that came in yesterday available for purchase.... This weekend we have Cooked Banana Prawns, Tiger Prawns and B/L King Prawns as well as cooked Morteon Bay Bugs.
