24.01.2022 Gladstone Regional Council will undertake its second round of community engagement on the upgrade of Cassy Lives Skate Park from this week. Beginning from tomorrow (Tuesday 28 July), we will host five pop-up stalls in order to seek community feedback on three possible design options. I will be attending and look forward to hearing from all attendees / local residents.... This comes after stage one of community engagement took place last year with 70 contributors who completed surveys or took part in a design workshop held in November.

23.01.2022 I made a commitment during the election to improve road safety in our region. I am pleased to say that some of that work is now underway. This is what the Kirkwood Road-Dixon Drive intersection used to look like. While it'll take a few weeks to install the traffic lights, this upgrade will improve traffic flow and significantly reduce the history of accidents at this location. This is one of my local shopping centres so a big thanks to the Gladstone Regional Council contracto...rs onsite doing great work for the community. A big thanks also to the GRC Transport Environment Advisory Group, including: Rick Hansen Councillor Gladstone Regional Council, and Desley O'Grady Councillor Gladstone Regional Council
