22.01.2022 We have 3 gorgeous kittens available for adoption Kitten One- is 7-8 week old female tabby. She is very affectionate and playful little girl. Kitten Two- is 10-12 week old male ginger tabby. He is a real little purr monster and is extremely playful and energetic. Since his little friend has arrived he has really settled in.... Kitten Three- is 10-12 week old female tortieshell. She is a little bit shy, but loves a cuddle and a pat. She adores her ginger friend. Adoption price is $100 which will include microchip, 1st vaccination & worming. Kitten One won’t be available until she is a few weeks older but visits are more than welcome. Ideally kitten 2 & 3 would be more suited in a home together as they have become quite bonded. Please contact the clinic on 9652 1338 for any questions regarding the kittens.

21.01.2022 Please see our Christmas and New Year Trading hours. Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year to all our lovely clients and their awesome pets.

21.01.2022 Come meet Bonnie Bonnie is a gorgeous 9 month old Blue cattle dog pup. She is super affectionate, intelligent and social. She loves interacting with people and other dogs. Bonnie is the sort of dog you could take on many adventures, she absolutely loves going to the beach and swimming or just simply going for a walk with you.... Bonnie would be best suited in a home where there will be another dog/dogs that she can play with and with a family that would be keen to further her training. She has a thirst for knowledge and isn’t keen being left out of the action. Bonnie is desexed, fully vaccinated, up to date with heartworm, worming and flea & tick treatment. If you are interested in meeting Bonnie or would like further information regarding her, please contact the clinic on 9652 1338. See more

20.01.2022 We reluctantly must share with our clients the heartbreaking news of the passing of our clinic cat Ronald. Ronald or Ron as we affectionately called was a one in a million cat. He was brought into the clinic as a stray when we was about 8 months old. At the time we already had a resident clinic cat named Alice. Alice was 17 years old, battling renal failure and not at all phased by Ron. Ron decided he would join the team at Glenorie Vets as Alice’s apprentice to learn the tri...cks of the trade. After Alice passed away it took Ron about a week before he realised that he had been promoted to Head clinic cat and his time to shine had arrived. Often you would find Ron at his post, fast asleep on top of the reception desk, completely switched off from all the commotion going on around him. Ronald loved all the attention that clients would give him. If he could hear a child enter the clinic, he would magically appear from wherever he was sleeping to perform all his special tricks to entertain them in return for a few liver treats. Ronald will be sorely missed at Glenorie Vet Clinic. The clinic just won’t be the same without him. Our only solace is that we know Ronald will be taken care by his best friend and protector in life and beyond....Sophie. Good boy Ron xx

18.01.2022 With the Catastrophic fire danger forecast for tomorrow everyone should be prepared AND have their pets included in their fire plan. Should you decide to leave your property and take your pets with you; know where to take your pets should it be boarding kennels, a relative or family’s place. If you decide to stay make sure your pets are confined early in a secure room, on a lead or in a carrier, with plenty of water. For large animals (horses, cattle, sheep etc.) make alterna...te arrangements as soon as possible if you are relocating them. If you cannot relocate them, make sure to keep them in a large cleared paddock (or multiple connected paddocks with gates secured open) with plenty of drinking water. Remove all rugs, fly veils, halters and boots. You can spray paint your phone number on the side of your horse or write it on the horse’s hooves. BASIC RELOCATION KIT FOR PETS: - Food & Water - A bowl for each pet - Collar & lead for each pet (plus a spare) - A carrier for cats and smaller pets - Bedding and woolen blanket - Basic pet first aid kit - Any medications your pet requires - Vaccination record and vet’s details SHOULD YOU PET SUSTAIN A BURN INJURY OR SUFFER THE EFFECTS OF HEAT STROKE PLEASE SEEK VETERINARY TREATMENT IMMEDIATELY!
