20.01.2022 Hi Western clubs in mininera league ( caramut , Penshurst, hawksdale and rams ) are looking to put mixed junior u11s u14s and u16.5 teams into the new gswjfl comp this year Starting date yet to be announced but looking at mid to late July for a 7-10 wk comp with 2 weeks of finals Training would commence once numbers / teams / coaches are worked out and games played on sundays Overage permits will be allowed so basically if you played last year in 16.5 you can play again o...n permit this year This is for this year only while our league is on hold and designed to ensure all kids that want to play can If anyone is interested in playing text me your name and age or ring me by Sunday night at the latest Paul Phillips 0418 340 856 See more

18.01.2022 This weekend our footballers took part in a preseason camp in Dunkeld. They started on Friday night with a long training session and stayed the night in Dunkeld. There was then an early morning wake up call with all the footballers in the pool by 6:45am. At the camp the players also voted for the leadership group for the 2020 season. We would like to welcome the following Seniors captain Michael Uebergang Senior vice Will Collins and Tyler Fehsler ... Reserves captain Russell Macgugan Reserves Vice captain Jack Kennedy Fantastic job to Tilt and everyone else involved for the training camp.

16.01.2022 UNDER 16 COACH We are very excited to announce our under 16s coach for the 2020 season. Will Collins is excited to be taking on this role. Will is a local boy and has played his junior footy here as well as a valued senior player. 16.01.2022 What a fantastic night tonight for the netballers and footballers training. We changed things up a little tonight and combined training with some challenges and a run up the piccaninny then returned to the club rooms for a delicious BBQ. A big thank you goes to Ally and Tilt for your hard work organising it.

15.01.2022 This is the Races Roster as it stands on 1/11/19. We obviously need more help in the middle and final shifts. It’s always nice to see the familiar faces on the roster, but it’d be great to have some support from a wider range of players, supporters and parents as this is a major fundraiser for the club. There is no alcohol on our stall so junior players can absolutely help out on the day - it is not restricted to adults. Please comment here if you can help out. Thanks

15.01.2022 Hi everyone Hope you’ve enjoyed a mini-break from footy & netty. Our final request of you for the year is volunteering to work a shift at the Dunkeld Races (at the GDFNC Rams food outlet). No experience needed, we just need many, many volunteers to share the load please. We also encourage juniors and their families to also assist on the day. 07.01.2022 It is with excitement that the GDFNC announce our 2020 Senior Coach, Simon "Tilt" Hatherall. And to start the ball rolling, we also welcome Henry Barr to the club. Henry has moved to Glenthompson, coming from the Central Murray League. His youth, fitness, pace and hardness will be proven as a flanker / on baller. Welcome Tilt and Henry. We also welcome back with open arms Our local lads Matt Lowe, Chicken Mcleod, Lachie Field and Tyler Staude. Pre Christmas training starts on Friday December the 6th @ 6pm. 04.01.2022 The Glenthompson Dunkeld Football Netball Club wishes to extend our deepest sympathy to Strop, Emma and the Strawford family on the loss of their mother Margaret.
